Just how wrongheaded can someone be about America's energy situation? Take a look at President Obama's long history of false claims about oil.
If the president has a mantra, it has to be "We can't drill our way out of this problem." Any time he talks about energy, he trots out that phrase. Whatever the problem, increasing domestic oil supply is never the solution.

We all knew, years ago, the “you can’t drill for oil to solve an oil shortage” was typical liberal braindamage lies.
Paid less for gas today than I have in years.
I’m busy banging my head against the robots that think fracking is causing the earthquake swarm in Kansas and Oklahoma.
Reality always debunks liberalism.
Just like they say we can’t solve traffic problems with building more roads or adding lanes.

When have Obumbles and his band of Merry Marxists from academe been right about anything? They regurgitate what some other Leftist professor taught them years ago, and no one ever checks to see how their prognostications turned out. That would be an interesting study for someone in the press to do, but that will never happen.

The leftist mantra is “We need to be energy independant”. Meaning we need to flush money down the wind, solar toilet. When we actually DO have the chance to be energy independant, they sue for fracking, block the XL Pipeline and work to support the Mideast countries. It all boils down to supporting Saudi Arabia, our enemy.
He’s just not very smart is he? Somehow though, there he sits, lording over us all.
It isn’t just fracking. There is a lot of oil coming from new drilling methods that can get to oil without fracking.
