A recent report by a GOP-led committee that was seen as going easy on the Obama administration's Benghazi response is drawing stinging complaints from a number of Republicans on the panel, as well as survivors of the attack.
Some GOP members on the House Intelligence Committee grumble that the final product "might as well have been written by the minority," while other House Republicans say they are frustrated with the committee's decision to release a report with so many "holes."
Several lawmakers point their fingers at the committee's chairman, Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Mich. Some members who disagreed with the findings said they stopped going to meetings because of concerns with his handling of the report, and didn't even take part in the final version.
The report, released last month, found no intelligence lapses in connection with the fatal terror attack. Republican heavyweights like Sen. Lindsey Graham have blasted the findings as "garbage."
But the findings also drew complaints from survivors, who testified behind closed doors, and caused deep divisions on the committee itself ahead of the report's release. Critical lawmakers wished to remain anonymous due to fear of blowback from Republican leadership.

Manpads. Isis.
Another name for a Republican with balls?
“Freak of nature”
Yes, we will see.
I would just simply say who appointed Gowdy?
As we can see in the senate, *itch McConnell does not want to appoint Sessions to any committee, because he cannot control Sessions.
He wants to appoint a yes man.
I’d guess the same hold true in the house.
The GOP is interested in nothing other than protecting its piece of the pie.
It’s a whitewash and Rogers is a traitor.
“...The GOP is interested in nothing other than protecting its piece of the pie.”
****************************************************************************************************
Gowdy is NOT a Mike Rogers. From what I’ve seen, Gowdy does NOT suffer fools and I do not think he will allow a coverup. Sometimes even the most filthy, foul laundry needs to be brought out into the sunshine and then cleaned and sanitized and made bright & useful.
The festering foulness that has been American involvement related to Libya was conceived and born by the likes of Obama, his Muslim Brotherhood operatives in his administration and their willing enablers. And those willing enablers have been of BOTH parties and included the likes of John McCain and Lindsey Graham (and possibly Mike Rogers).
Bring that diseased and corrupt Libyan laundry into the sunlight and boil the contamination out of it. If we don’t, similar evil will surely be repeated in the future.
Trey Gowdy is going tear them a new one
Or maybe they have something on him...
Freak of nature
It is is more like a unicorn. It doesn't exist.
Benghazi ping.
Let Republicanprofessor know if you want on or off this ping list.
We may never learn, until we begin the trials for members of the old government, why the GOP went along with a coverup. But we certainly won't learn from anything this bunch does.
Why not?
Meaningless theater.
I could not care less how many GOP lawmakers pretend to be angry or try to make some harmless tool look stupid on TV. THAT'S NOT THEIR JOB.
Their job is to exercise all Legislative powers granted to the government set up by the U.S. Constitution and to represent the People and the States in that government.
Sham rage isn't part of the job.
Senator Sam Ervin and Congressman Peter Rodino never "tore anybody a new one", and yet they removed from office a President who had just won re-election with 520 electoral votes and 61% of the popular vote.
But then, they were men and they knew how to exercise power.
Enough already about blowback from leadership! - These jack wagons should be worried about blowback from “we the people.”
Which Vichy Republicans (GOPe) were on the committee and allowed this to happen?
I don't think it does. Gowdy's committee will go far, far beyond the report.
No party can have “teeth” without the Senate and the White House. How many “conservative” bills the House has already passed, only to be thrown in the garbage can by Harry Reid?
Elections have consequences. How do you think Obummer is giving us the ream job? Correct, he won the elections.
