“Yup, the community organizer will wag his finger and may even send a strongly worded letter to the Kremlin.”
It will be worth what? Two or three red lines in the sand.

Dont let them dock, theyll be drunk and passed out in some pub within a few hoursSome of them will be upstairs with the lasses.

Where’s the tugboat to tow them home if they break down?
Their much-ballyhooed “deployment” to Venezuela a couple years back (nuclear battle cruiser and a destroyer), and the few near-home forays of their 1 “aviation cruiser” Kuznetsov, always have one in company, since they are such pieces of junk.
As someone said, would imagine a couple of Her Majesty’s Perisher graduates are keeping an eye on things.

If their Northern Fleet’s flagship is a destroyer, well, that’s just sad.

Just wait until he does the same thing in the Chesapeake Bay inlet... Wake me when he does.

Fox News reported earlier today that the Russky fleet entered the Channel for refuge because tumultuous weather was approaching.
Were the Brits notified beforehand?
Incomplete, sketchy reporting,.

Only for 12 nautical miles from the shore.
So while the article makes it seem like the Russian navy is doing something nefarious, they can by international law be in the English channel like British ships can be of the coast of Russia, as long as they stay past the limit.

The US Seventh Fleet's command ship looks like a transport freighter that carries around a bunch of antennae.
Heck, I think it IS a freighter carrying around antennae.

Probably just the ‘flagship’ of the battlegroup. This article reads like a bad translation. 250 marines embarked? Uh, I think they mean sailors? But a lot of translators use the term ‘marines’ when that has a very specific definition in the English language.

Putin would never dare enter the Chesapeake Bay, if he did Obama would issue him an executive order to leave within six months or whenever is suits him.
