http://thinkprogress.org/justice/2014/11/26/3597380/in-the-eyes-of-their-killers-trayvon-martin-and-mike-brown-were-the-same-person/

Dear Alice,

Having read your blog posting “Darren Wilson And George Zimmerman Described Mike Brown and Trayvon Martin The Same Way” I find it interesting how you skipped over the fact that Brown attacked Wilson in the police car punching him in the face several times while attempting to grab the officer’s gun, which went off in the car. That was the first shot fired which is not the first shot you describe in your commentary.

You also omitted how the 6’5” tall 289 pound “gentle giant” robbed and manhandled a diminutive shopkeeper just prior to assaulting a police officer.

Your agenda driven selective reporting is typical of your ilk.

As for Trayvon Martin’s close friend’s statement about Martin being a good human, good humans don’t try to pound neighborhood watchman’s heads into the cement while stating you’re going to die tonight.

Are you really that naïve? Take off your blinders lady. You will get a better view of the real world around you before it bites you in the ass.

Someone else is thinking like me, as the same idea was posted to Reddit.

Synthetic marijuana (a.k.a., “spice”) does not show up in traditional toxicology tests.

Anger, paranoia, and violence have been reported as a side effect of synthetic marijuana intoxication.

I wonder if Michael Brown may have also been smoking spice as well as weed that night.

All you need to know Tinkerbell. Michael Brown was a big dumb thug used to throwing his weight around. He almost got the cop's gun on the first try, so went back for more. He chose poorly.

Adam Howard wasn’t there. He didn’t see what happened first hand and first of all, someone coming at you several times can pose a threat to your life.

In case he’s forgotten it, self-defense is a complete legal defense against murder. This is exactly what happened here. The Grand Jury found no reason to conclude, based on all the evidence presented to it, that Darren Wilson wasn’t anything but truthful.

What should be pointed out is all of Michael Brown’s witnesses lied, perjured themselves and changed the facts to fit their beliefs. All of that tells us a lot more about what Howard takes from the case than it says about the good man whose reputation and integrity he trashes.

Mr. Howard, you’re not fit to shine Mr. Wilson’s shoes.

The boy needs to follow up with an article, “Why It Isn’t Important Whether or Not I Believe Darrin Wilson.”

I think there is another problem with the liberal elite when they analyze Michael Brown. Ezra Klein said Michael Brown was not a “hardened felon”, so his reported actions towards Darren Wilson do not make sense. I would say the opposite applies. A hardened felon probably would be cool towards the police to try to avoid conflict. A hardened felon, who knows the criminal justice system, probably does not have a death wish. He probably knows he can cop a plea.

This is the same sort of thought process from MSNBC.

I have a nephew (who is white), who had run-ins with the cops when he was Michael Brown’s age. He acted foolish towards the cops and resisted arrest. He learned from it.

I also knew plenty of black teenagers back when I was in high school 30 years ago who had anger issues, and had big chips on their shoulders, especially regarding white people, or authority figures.

The photos of Michael Brown flashing “gang signs” suggest not that he was a member of a gang, but that he had a chip on his shoulder when it came to authority.

Combine youth with testosterone with intoxication with “black rage”, and you could easily have behavior like Michael Brown’s.

Adam Howard: This is why it’s hard for many to understand Wilson’s story. Basic common sense tells us that if someone has a gun and you don’t, you don’t pick a fight with them and you certainly don’t run at them full speed with your arms out while being fired on.

And yet, Mr. Howard, that's exactly what multiple witnesses said Michael Brown did. It wasn't just Darren Wilson saying so, of course.

Naturally, we'll both agree that if an unarmed person attempts to attack or charge an armed peace officer, despite numerous orders to cease and desist, that unarmed person would be imbued with industrial-strength stupidity. So stupid would such a person be, Mr. Howard, that I'm certain we would both question whether such a person could (or should) live outside an institutional setting. In fact, such a person would be so profoundly stupid that there would be some question as to whether he possessed enough gray matter to carry on basic autonomic activities such as breathing.

Given how we agree as we do, Mr. Howard, that Michael Brown was so stupid that he managed to inadvertently commit "suicide by cop," I hope I can enlist your assistance in changing the Mr. Brown's common sobriquet from "Unarmed Gentle Giant Mike Brown" to something far more accurately descriptive: "Big Stinkin' Stupid Mike Brown."

I'm sure I can count on your support in this initiative, in the interest of accuracy. ;-)

I keep seeing the same mentality. I am (color or ethnic group), and I don't act like that, therefore others who are (same color or ethnic group) couldn't have acted like that, because we're both (color or ethnic group). Therefore, (other color or ethnic group) collectively or individually did the (color or ethnic group) person wrong.

When (color or ethnic group) people get rid of the frigging hyphenations and become Americans, become individuals rather than identify themselves by their (color or ethnic group)ness, then they will be truly free of the slavery of identifying with and not daring to speak out against the thugs, the druggies, the hookers, and the other social dregs they feel obligated (or even forced by peer pressure) to defend.

What a weight that will be to get off their shoulders, to dump the anger fomented against (other color or ethnic group) people for defending themselves, their lives, their families, and their property, just as any decent (color or ethnic group) people would.

It’s hard to fathom ... the idea that a multiple gunshot wound victim would keep coming for more...

In movies one shot drops the killer. In real life that happens sometimes but not often. In the real world killers often keep charging forward.

MSNBC should do 10 minutes of research before thy put out such drivel.

Probably couldn’t figure out how Nixon beat McGovern in ‘72 either, deeming it highly unlikely that voters would act contrary to how he would act.

There have been plenty of studies that indicate that Marijuana can and does in some individuals who are already prone to violence cause them to be more violent. When you lower ones inhibitions it makes it easier for the worst of them to come out and Brown had just minutes before proven that he wasn’t beyond bullying up a clerk for some smokes. He wasn’t a nice guy at all.

He was a bully and aggressive. Evidence clearly indicates beyond a doubt that he attacked the officer in his cruiser and his hand had muzzle flash residue which supports beyond a doubt the Officers story that Brown was struggling with him for the gun. This is the point where if one had any remaining delusion that Brown was just a poor young “gentle giant” it should be summarily dismissed. A person that is willing to attack an officer in his cruiser and struggle with him for his gun is a person that no longer fits the category of normal sanity.

Even if you dismiss the testimony from black witnesses that back up Officer Wilson’s testimony its beyond clear that Brown was not just a little bit aggressive but off his rocker aggressive. Its the attitude of the writer of this article that is helping young black men further down the path to their graves. It allows the ghetto black community to once again refuse responsibility for doing nothing to raise their children as to prevent the early path to prison or the grave.

In an odd way, the Brown/Wilson case is proof of how far America has come racially.

A few decades ago they wouldn’t have had to essentially invent a narrative of racial injustice and brutality. It was there all the time for the observing.

I grew up in a Missouri city, not the deep south, but the cops then casually referred to their nightsticks as n****r-knockers. And used them accordingly.

It is also hard to fathom that an 18 year old would stick his head in a police car, assault the officer and try to steal his gun. But don’t take Wilson’s word for it. Brown’s fingerprints were on the gun.

Hard to believe or not, the evidence is the evidence. Brown did not want to get arrested for theft, assault and drug possession. His judgement was distorted by drugs. He figured he could win the battle with only one officer.

It’s hard to fathom what is more absurd, the idea that a multiple gunshot wound victim would keep coming for more, or that a grand jury would believe it.

Happens all the time. And when it does the forensics back it up.
