They’ve cried wolf too many times; productive people have stopped listening. We had a bad shooying here in Brooklyn (a rookie shot an innocent black man in a darkened stairwell), and I’m genuinely surprised by the indifference towards it among most people. I wouldn’t be surprised if the cop went to prison (the police administration and mayor seem to be supporting the victim, and as far as I know they should), yet nobody really seems to care very much (except for black America’s king, Al “Tawana Brawley” Sharpton).

I hope I’m wrong, but sometimes I think that the professional s***-stirrers choose causes like Traytable and the Gentle Giant is *because* they’re thugs; i.e., they are trying to send a message to the ordinary citizens “Don’t you dare resist us. If you do, we will make you wish you had taken your beating.”
