Across the country on Monday night, people took to the streets to protest the grand jury decision to not indict Officer Darren Wilson in the August shooting of Michael Brown.
From Ferguson, Missouri, where Brown lived, to major cities like New York and Los Angeles, to places in between, the outrage over the decision was palpable. People of all ages and races hit the streets, some with signs, others holding their hands up in whats become an oft-used way of honoring the late 18-year-old, and others lying on the pavement, outlined by chalk.
While the reactions in Ferguson became at times chaotic cars and buildings were torched protests in other areas appeared to remain peaceful.
Below, take a look at the stirring images from across the nation.

LOL! My reaction too
This may get me in trouble.
I see a swarm of people who live in the best country in the world, who give nary a second thought to running water, abundant food and so many creature comforts that would make people in third world countries gape with astonishment. They do not lack for health care, civil rights or entertainment. They have it so good here that they have to concoct a fictional wrong in order to have something to get excited about and act out.
First World Problems
All LIVs that don’t gather facts to make informed decisions on anything. Blindly following liberal activists orders without critical thinking skills or question. Nothing new here.
The only thing chilling about the picture are the temperatures this idiots went out in to do their clown act.
I saw a sponsored ad in my facebook newsfeed last week. It was for a company selling data and they claimed that you could view the arrest records of 230 Americans. Out of 310 million? And there are about 70 million persons under 18 (17?)
So has the whole adult country been arrested yet?

I bet not one of them read the witness statements.
Do they know that 6 of the grand jury members were black.
How about that Mikey was 300 pounds and 6 foot 4.
Tried to kill the officer as he was seated in his squad car.
I watched Steve Mattigan of Fox News today, as he explained his level of fear last night as he reported from Fergidishu. He said he felt more in peril there than in war zones he’s been to.
One thug last night shouted at him that he looked like Officer Wilson. I bet that sent a chill up Steve’s spine. You know they’d just as soon kill him as not. He was surrounded by them. As he reported from there this afternoon, I wondered why the hell he was still there.
The first photo looks like the morning after at most of the parties I went to in college.
Well said and 100 percent agree with you.
They all enjoy clean drinking water, and all the food they can eat. Add to it every luxury like fancy phones (I have a 7 dollar a month TracFone), cable TV, you name it, they’ve got it.
They should go live in India for a few years and crap in the street.
What to ya mean “chilling”?
It all looked pretty calm and mild compared to looting, violence and wide spread arson fires of Ferguson/St. Louis..
Not hardly chilling...
I wasn't aware that he was murdered by a cop because of his race. Perhaps he wasn't killed at all. Glad this gal has memorialized the [non-]event on her shirt, though.
If you truly believe it’s AmeriKKKa, why don’t you get the **** out?
All registered RATS.
What’s infuriating to me is these kids - have no understanding of what REAL oppression and true racism are. They will never comprehend the actual suffering of their ancestors. It’s an insult of the highest order to cleverly demand they be equated.
It’s not that these kids aren’t accepted for their “blackness”..it’s that they do not respect themselves first.
International Answer, The New Black Panthers, various thugs and looters, and whatever rent a mob members they could find.....A disastrous mix of nonsense and violence. These people are anarchists at heart and just want to destroy things
What a gentle giant /s
They have been planning this thing ever since Trayvon petered out.
