The fact that Ferguson, MO’s businesses played no role at all in the shooting of Michael Brown did not save them. Many were destroyed Monday night. Unknown rioters set fire to some, and either those same rioters or others fired upon the fire fighters who braved the violence to try putting the fires out. Some rioters looted stores and shops that were owned by minorities who live in the community.
The orgy of violence will leave Ferguson a “ghost town,” according to this bewildered resident. She says that she came out Monday night just to make sure that the rioters had not destroyed her place of work.
“I mean, this is crazy,” she said. “I mean, the business didn’t do anything. If they were going to do something, get the right people, if they have to do it.”
She added that the AutoZone, which is seen burning in the background, was where she purchased her auto parts.
CNN’s Sara Sidner asked the resident what she thinks will happen to the community now that so many businesses have burned.
“They’re not gonna rebuild,” she answered. “It’s just gonna be like a ghost town.”
“We never get ahead because we destroy our communities so we’ll never get ahead”
The bill should go directly to ABCCBSNBCCNN. They played up the race angle for ratings. They burnt down those businesses themselves. Make those f*rs pay for the damage they so clearly wrought.
Bigger or smaller, the church building is still no more.
And of course, when she says "right", she means "white."
Do not live among African Americans, regardless of whether you are white or not. Crimes go up, property values go down, education goes down the toilet, and your chances of dying or assaulted goe way the f up.
I have no sympathy to those who live amongst them.
Actually, it was so wide spread back then dozens of Koreans business were looted and burned out before they got a belly full....
Thankfully since then the black areas of LA have turned into a majority of Hispanic and Asian etc..
Many blacks left LA and CA in the years following and headed to all points back east, the south, northwest etc...

The secret that is not being told is the destruction of businesses is the goal of the Marxist left. They work behind the scenes to leverage thugs to do the violent work. Of coarse, the left wing media would never admit this. Where is the “fair and balanced” media on this?
Less tax money and the Ferguson PD will have to reduce the number of police. That will probably cause an increase in the overall crime rates.
Can we call it the Giuliani Effect?
Theres a story floating around about a strip mall that was vigorously defended by store owners with handguns and AR-15’s. It’s still there.

Many might not realize it but dozens of Korean Businesses were looted and burned in ‘92 LA. After they’d had enough, they then armed up and the rest is history.

Most of the “protestors” were there not to protest but as an excuse to loot and pillage.

Back then -- before the riots -- you had groceries, restaurants, drug stores, movie theaters, etc. etc. — NOW, that area has ONLY liquor stores that sell some food at three times the price.
When I lived there, white families were 1 out of 5 or so, but everyone worked, played, and got along...ALL watched each other’s backs. The riots lead to welfare housing -- and in turn -- the rapid growth of drugs gangs.
There is more to it than that; the black birthrate has fallen since welfare reform, and the Hispanics have 1) more children, and 2) a constant flow of reinforcements. Every black area in the northeast seems to have a buffer zone of Hispanics encircling it (as though by design); many businesses are run by Asians from the subcontinent, and riots are less and less likely to have any impact at all on white Americans.
