I can’t believe he’ll be indicted, especially since several experts have said it is extremely difficult to indict a cop in this situation. On the other hand, this has nothing to do with the law.

I tend to agree, in order to appease they might sacrifice Wilson and charge him with something lesser, before he heads off to some tropical island....

That would just embolden them because if it isn't a first degree murder suggestion. And any suggestion that Wilson be tried is going to anger those who support him.

I don’t see manslaughter because there is no case. Pure and simple self defense on an attacking felon!! There is no question. Surely they will not apease a lynch mob!! They have to have 4 people say “no bill”— out of 12. 9 whites and 3 blacks. This is a no bill if I ever saw one. I would be shocked at doing anything to this great officer and public servant.
