A grand jury has reached a decision on whether to indict Darren Wilson, the white Ferguson, Mo. police officer whose fatal shooting of an unarmed black teenager sparked days of turbulent protests, sources close to the process said.

Sources said that press conferences are being prepared by the county prosecutors’ office and the Missouri governor. Those press conferences will likely come later today.

Right. I agree. This is really a group of extremist agitators and terrorists trying to start a full out riot in Ferguson and to inflame racial tensions to cause chaos across the country all because they didn’t agree with a decision. Like you said the rioters are lawless and anarchists. I sense all those left wing terrorists from Occupy Wall street are behind this as joined the protests sometime ago along with Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. LEO press conference Ferguson: 12 buildings burned, total loss. LEO chiefs counted at least 150 shots fired near their street location, can’t believe they weren’t hit. 29 arrests to date, multiple firearms confiscated. One elderly gentleman carjacked, then run over.

The police chief speaking during the command post press conference is pathetic. Talking endlessly about the details of the chaos, but refusing to see that their plan to as he put it "treat this like a sporting event or a festival" has utterly failed. He still thinks their plan, which essentially amounts to doing nothing, is succeeding! The most he will admit is that he is "disappointed." It is blatantly obvious to me that the police are so intent on proving that they are not "racists", that they are simply paralyzed. There is widespread gunfire and buildings, cars, etc. burning and the police are talking about being "disappointed"? Pathetic! The animals perpetrating this should be ordered off the streets immediately and if they refuse maximum force should be applied to force them off the streets.

The silver lining I guess is that he is conclusively proving that the police cannot protect you and you are responsible for your own defense. I don't EVER want to hear again how we should all just give up our guns because the police will protect us. What a ludicrous fiction.

One of the questions asked of him was "what did you see out there tonight", replied "Hurt. Pain." - by the protestors. BS - totally glossed over the professional criminals who set this mess up and benefited from it.

Yes, it would have been a good night, if hundreds of millions of dollars of property hadn't been looted or destroyed. I don't want to sound like Obama’s death panels, but a few rounds of buckshot early, or at least the NG deployed early, could have saved the town. Now it's just a low investment priority. That is probably true. However, the police did not have the manpower necessary to prevent this. They needed the National Guard, which is only now arriving, after the fact. The Chief's comment that even if they had 10,000 officers they could not have prevented this is a lie and a weak excuse. Why was the National Guard unavailable? It was Governor Nixon's (D) decision, made contrary to a request last week from the Ferguson Mayor. I suspect this whole event was planned by Democrats from top to bottom: Nixon, Holder and Obama, as agitprop for a national political agenda.
