President Barack Obama says voters want a "new car smell" in the 2016 White House race and that Hillary Rodham Clinton would be "a great president."
But would Clinton pass that particular smell test?
In a nationally televised interview broadcast Sunday, Obama seemed to suggest that any Democrat other than him would provide the turn of the page that he says voters are interested in. He acknowledged the "dings" to his own political standing during nearly six years of sometimes bruising battles with Congress and said Americans will want something new.
"They want to drive something off the lot that doesn't have as much mileage as me," Obama said.
But if she does run -- which she is considering, with a decision expected to be announced early next year -- would she have that "new car" scent for voters?
New car smell or not, Democratic voters hold her in such high regard that she outdistances anyone else in polling of possible Democratic candidates for 2016. One of them is Vice President Joe Biden, who has not ruled out a third run for the White House.
The 2016 presidential race could feature a repeat face-off between a Clinton and a member of another leading American political family: former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, who is considering entering the 2016 race. His father and brother both were elected president. In the AP-GfK survey, Jeb Bush was most popular among potential 2016 GOP presidential candidates, with 56 percent of Republicans viewing him favorably.

Certified one owner, hardly ever driven.................
I’d be satisfied to just get the stench out of the White House right now.
A new car smell is better than B.O. any day.
Personally, I don’t think the smell of week old rotting dead fish resembles the fresh off the dealer’s lot aroma at all. It would be a toss up between that and the “Damn, I should have stopped the car to let to dog out to s#$% sooner!” smell we’ve endured for the last six years.
Now that just reeks of Dependz and harsh chemical coverup smells. She looks like she’s been embalmed, like her faded socialist dogma.
Sometimes, older women think that a long wavy mess of hair makes them look younger. She looks like she’s been smoking a Big Bambu.
[[na, Obama isnt a good liar.]]
Both he and the left don’t even try to be good liars anymore because they know that no matter how outrageous, how provably false, how transparent their lies are, that NO MSM will ever hold them accountable for saying such lies- they don’t even try to hide their shameful lies any longer- and the more outrageous the lies, the more the media laps it up and praises them for ‘being bold’
Here comes the SS Hillary Clinton again.
Ping for later read of all comments.
Isn't that the sad truth, the MSM is all in on so many lies, even the local medias are worse that way as I have experienced during the last election.
CGato
Hillary smells, period.
Hillary smells like dead fish.
I can see the new leather look.
fish entrails?

After 8 years of Obama, how could anyone vote for a DemocRAT? I don’t think that the 47% that Mitt Romney spoke of, who would not vote for him no matter what, will even apply in 2016; judging from the Election results this past Nov. 4th.
