In many if not most of the areas that have an all black population a white person can get robbed, beaten, murdered, etc. just for being there. That sure sounds like a place I would like to live. Not.

It’s self-segregation and comes about when you attack your own for “acting white”.
The entire premise of the article is that more diverse neighborhoods offer more opportunity and so blacks are at a disadvantage. There is no evidence that this is true other than the left believes it.
If you make your own neighborhood into a cesspool, don’t expect a whole lot of working people to move there.
I don’t feel like reading this propaganda piece, but I will say that THE FIRST THING blacks do when they make a tiny bit of money is MOVE OUT of LaHood, as they want safety for themselves. It has NOTHING to do with “segregation” - those days ended DECADES AGO.
