Once the grand jury makes its decision on whether to charge Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson, members will go back to their everyday lives.

KMOX News wanted to know about the safety of those jurors given the high-profile case and the strong emotions surrounding it.

Washington University law professor Peter Joy says despite safeguards, no system is 100 percent fool-proof.

First, I'm thinkin' they've already made their decision. Second, you can bet that the aclu or splc or some other opposition group WILL get the names and release them. Suggestion......if you're one of the grand jury folks, start packin' and changing your name.

Yeh right....like people didn't notice them missing at work or at the supper table and the families ignored the jury duty notice...Even the mailman knows what that little card is.

And they just might want to write a book.

I also wonder about the black witnesses that supported Officer Wilson’s version of events

The jury only meets about once a week. Still, the time is unusual. I’m sure the whole damn town knows who the jury is.

I think they made their decision last week, and the various Ferguson officials and the feds have been sitting on it.

We're not a democracy that respects the rule of law and order anymore. The protests should not have been allowed before the decision. It's supposed to be secret deliberations.

Why are people still being allowed to protest when they don't live there? It's insane to be assuming that there will be chaos, and somehow that's okay.

I doubt they can be hidden. When they were selected, wouldn’t people post that online or facebook it, etc without giving much thought to the coming turdburger of a case they would end of receiving? Unless a new GJ was picked specifically for this, the info has to be out there, no?

And Ferguson does not have a GJ, it would be the Clayton County GJ, unless they do it different?

I think they made their decision last week,...

How about more than a week ago?

"In Ferguson prosecutor [Robert] McCulloch got no indictment call weeks ago but has not announced because DOJ find biased behavior by him,” says a St. Louis-based cop.

I think they made their decision a long time ago and they’ve been “hinting” it out bit by bit, hopefully to make the whole thing anti-climatic and lessen the “reaction”.

If the decision is “no bill”, just release it in cursive. Problem solved.

The Ferguson officials have been sitting on it as directed by the POTUS. Holder’s running this show and I believe he will be leading the protest parade. Everyone knows the cop didn’t have a chance against the “gentle giant” charging him.

Anything that the unJustice department has access to is not protected from them handing it to their drones, the enemies organizing the chaos.

Not to mention that the DOJ (Holder) has threatened a bias suit against the prosecutor, who runs the grand jury, if a no-indictment comes down the tubes...

Ordinary lives, my aunt fanny. Their families should already have bugged out and bought one way plane tickets for their GJ person to follow the minute they’re thanked for their time served.

All it takes is one leftist clerk. It will happen. Hope the jurors are out of town when it does.

I think you're right.

I'm haveing trouble with the way they're dragging their feet with the decision. If they're doing it because they're afraid of the response from the local wildlife, that's a shame. More likely they're trying to assure the privacy of the jury members so they can all put the finishing touches on their "BLOCkBUSTER TELL ALL'S".

I believe at least one of the assistant prosecutors providing evidence to the Grand Jury is black. (McCulloch removed himself from the case immediately)
