With rape allegations against Bill Cosby mounting, supermodel Janice Dickinson tells ET in a new interview that the comedian sexually assaulted her in 1982.
Dickinson, now 59, recalls first meeting Cosby, now 77, when her agent set up a meeting with him to hire her for a role on The Cosby Show. After they had dinner, she says their next conversation was when he called her out of the blue while she was in rehab for drugs and alcohol. Following her stay in rehab, Dickinson says Cosby reached out to her during a trip to Bali and had her travel to Lake Tahoe, because he was performing there and wanted to offer her the job they had discussed as well as help her with a singing career.
Dickinson says they had dinner in Lake Tahoe, and claims that he gave her a glass of red wine and a pill, which she asked for because she was menstruating and had stomach pains.

And that's when she tells ET that things took a disturbing turn.
"The next morning I woke up, and I wasn't wearing my pajamas, and I remember before I passed out that I had been sexually assaulted by this man," she tells ET. "... Before I woke up in the morning, the last thing I remember was Bill Cosby in a patchwork robe, dropping his robe and getting on top of me. And I remember a lot of pain. The next morning I remember waking up with my pajamas off and there was semen in between my legs."

This is what happens when famous African Americans go conservative, “act white”, or fail to follow the “we’re victims of white racism” them.
Ask Herman Cain and Justice Thomas.
* difficult time NOT believing
I remember Janice was in Playboy in the ‘80s. She seemed to have all her original parts then.
Most of these girls turn out worse after “rework” than if they just aged naturally, IMHO
"Have you or someone you loved been raped by Bill Cosby? If so, you may be entitled to compensation."
"I called Ken and I got my check!"
Eh, all of Hollywood is a facade. I don’t know one way or another about Cosby. I do know that the real life husband of his wife on the show was a player while they were married.
I think most of them are pretty screwed up from all the misplaced adulation.
Rather disturbing that all these women ended up alone with Cosby in a motel room.
Right. Women everywhere bring this up at business dinners and/or on casual dates. They just can't stop talking about their periods with men they barely know. /s
Since then, I’ve read that Cosby, when he was young, handsome and popular in the 60s, used to hang out at the Playboy mansion in L.A. as a “regular.” This was a place where playmates and models would throw themselves upon celebrities to jump start various careers.
I think he got a taste for beautiful young model types in that period. As he grew older and less handsome, but still had the desires, he probably used his status and wealth to funnel young models into his own “grooming” process. Mentoring, call it what you will, it’s an elaborate seduction/mind screw. Ending with the drugged wine and rape.
His many chickens are finally coming home to roost.
and as soon as I got up and discovered that I had been assaulted, I went directly to the hospital and sought treatment and informed the authorities when I filed charges......or maybe not.
I am believing the women more with each passing week. Each thought they were isolated cases, and nobody would believe them, so why bother?
And Cosby seduced/tricked/mentored them into embarrassing/compromising locations and situations before drugging and raping them. After they came to, fuzzy and blurry, they must have thought,
1. Nobody will believe nobody me, compared to The Great And Wonderful Bill Cosby,
2. Even if they half believe me, they will call me a slut for being in his hotel room, etc.
Seems to be a pattern and it would not be a big surprise if he was a predator. In the day he could get away with it as these women were looking for fame.
Pray America is waking
See #31 for my guess at how and why.
Waiting a long time to tell your story to someone that just might believe you would have to be very cathartic.
Your analysis has a ring of plausibility to me...it sounds right.
I loved Cosby as a kid...I had his records and such.
But something, somewhere changed, maybe it was me growing up, but I don’t think so.
I think at least one woman did go to the police to report the attack. But they wouldn’t prosecute it. They would not bring charges against BC. I believe these women and Janice Dickinson too. I think his silence speaks volumes.
Perhaps the authorities feared they would be playing with a racial gunpowder keg.
Kind of like Ferguson, but decades back.
I’m old enough to remember hearing this line of comedy from Cosby: “Spanish Fly.”
“Bill Cosby jokes about drugging women unearthed”
After two women have recently come forward claiming to have been drugged and raped by the comedian, a joke from Cosby’s 1969 album It’s True! It’s True! has been making the rounds. In the stand-up recording, he recounts a story of being a 13-year-old boy and learning that (allegedly) when you slip “Spanish fly” into a woman’s drink, it will make her more susceptible to a man’s advances.
“From then on, anytime you see a girl, ‘Wish I had some Spanish fly,’” Cosby is heard saying in his 1969 act. “Go to a party, see five girls standing alone. Boy, if I had a whole jug of Spanish fly I’d light that corner up over there. Haaa ha ha.”
It wasn’t a catharsis for me, though when I told my wife before we got married, it was a little bit.
What was life changing in a very different way, was my emotion when I saw him those years later as an old man, and I felt no hatred.
It really hit me. I was able to forgive, and I must tell you, that is a powerful thing. To realize you have the power to forgive. Nobody can MAKE you forgive, but...you yourself can do it, in the face of all that would run contrary to your being able to do it.
It changed me to have that feeling. It made me believe in Christ.
Ugh. How repulsive is that, even for the sole purpose of ribald humor, even if that is all it was.
How sad, if true. That he can’t even PAY them, he has to drug them.
