Will it or won't it pass? Stay tuned..
59-41.
In Arizona, the guy, Barber, who may have lost to Sally McSally in the House election voted against it as did all the other AZ RATS.
With 54 Reps, there will be at least 6 Dems who will vote with them to get to 60. If the Dems who voted today for the pipeline, vote the same way in January, there will be 63 votes for it.
Love it! LOLZ. She is even thinner skinned than Zippy.
According to Mr. Gruber they sure do.
Of all the Obambi dictatorial policies, why is this so important...especially with shale fracking and the lower oil prices? Why is this number one on Pubbie’s list?
You’re assuming those dems vote the same way. This was a ‘show’ vote to demonstrate the power of Landrieu. Now she can say I almost got the Senate to approve the pipeline. I would not be surprised to learn that Reid scripted this vote by deciding exactly which dems would vote for the pipeline and to ensure that it failed by one vote. It will fail by one vote every time it’s brought up.
I guess the Democrats decided that protecting Obama was more important than protecting Landrieu.

There are at least 60 votes for it. Dems who voted for it who will be around in January: Donnelly, McCaskill, Warner, Tester, Manchin
And the Left opposes progress yet again. Disgusting.
Elizabeth Warren only understood 1/32 of the chant after the vote.
...”Warren is the new leader of the far far left”...
Yep...sure looks like it.
Landrieu kinda gave an opus at the mike after the vote.
Bye, hon! Bless your heart!
I think you may have answered your own question.

They have to live with Obama for two more years; they know that Landrieu is a goner, but the dog and pony show is a temporary win-win-win-lose: GOP wins because it looks like it is pushing the pipeline, Dems win because it doesn't happen, Obama wins because he doesn't have to take a stand, Landrieu loses but she's going to lose anyway.
Looks like the Dems are the party of “no”.
When the GOP Senate is seated in January there will be 55 yes votes right out of the chute, assuming Cassidy wins the LA runoff.
Then only five Dems are needed for cloture and passage.
Then an additional 7 would be needed for an override veto.
Once the unions realize the Dems sold them down the river once again, and the American people start calling their Senators in January, the tide could easily turn, especially after Obama vetoes.
Once Obama vetoes the pipeline, I think there will be a lot of opposition to the Dems and Obama, if the GOP plays it right and does a good PR campaign.
Amazingly, the Dems did not come together to help Mary Landrieu, who has been there for 18 years.
Nobody wanted to stand next to her when the vote was on, except for Mark Begich, who voted yes. His vote will be replaced with a yes vote in January by Sullivan.
Yes, January 3rd will be the start of a new era in DC for the Senate.
It will not be the crap we have had to endure for the last 8 years with Reid at the helm.

According to CNN:
“In addition to the chamber’s 45 Republicans, all of whom were expected to support the bill, Landrieu was joined by 10 more Democratic co-sponsors: Alaska Sen. Mark Begich, Arkansas Sen. Mark Pryor, Indiana Sen. Joe Donnelly, Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill, Montana Sen. Jon Tester, Montana Sen. John Walsh, North Carolina Sen. Kay Hagan, North Dakota Sen. Heidi Heitkamp, Virginia Sen. Mark Warner and West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin.
Three more Democrats had pledged last week to support the measure: Colorado Sen. Michael Bennet, Delaware Sen. Tom Carper and Pennsylvania Sen. Bob Casey.”
Like I said, I'm kinda glad it failed just to shove it up Mary Landrieu's somewhere!
