Republican Texas Sen. and likely 2016 White House competitor Ted Cruz will speak at next February's Conservative Political Action Conference -- but first he'll be honored in Manhattan by the Zionist Organization of America.
The ZOA, which calls itself the nation's "oldest pro-Israel organization," will give Cruz the Dr. Bob Shillman Award at its annual Justice Louis D. Brandeis dinner on Nov. 23.
The Shillman Award goes to "an outstanding pro-Israel U.S. legislator who has a consistent and extraordinary record supporting Israel and promoting strong U.S.-Israel relations."
It will be presented to Cruz at the Grand Hyatt in midtown by Prof. Alan Dershowitz, who will in turn receive the Mortimer Zuckerman Award for demonstrating "a consistent and extraordinary record of promoting Israels record of a relentless pursuit of peace."
Zuckerman is the publisher of the Daily News and of U.S. News & World Report.
Also appearing at CPAC along with Cruz: Radio's Mark Levin and American Conservative Union Foundation Chairwoman and former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina.

Yeah, and he combines that brilliance with an ability to distill complex topics down to an east to convey, easy to understand, level.
His rebuttal to Franken on Net Neutrality is now Exhibit A of that ability.
That pretty good even Professor Alan think you are up there
LOL. Only the Daily Snooze.
The Shillman Award? Are you kidding me?
Why is that questionable to you?
Oh yeah, now I remember...
Meanwhile, Obama tries to hand Iran the nuclear bomb.
Thanks 2ndDivisionVet.
