Sen. Elizabeth Warren long has been a hero on the progressive left, but her popularity among the Democratic Party establishment is growing rapidly.
Ms. Warren, Massachusetts Democrat, now is set to assume a leadership role in her party’s Senate caucus, and the leaders of that caucus say she’s uniquely qualified for the job.
“I think [Senate Majority Leader] Harry Reid, all of us, have confidence that Elizabeth Warren is a great spokesman for our caucus and for our party on a national basis,” said Sen. Dick Durbin, Illinois Democrat and the No. 2 Democrat in the Senate.
Mr. Durbin appeared on CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday morning.

This woman is so annoying that there are some of us here in the People’s Republic of Massachusetts who believe she makes our drunken, murdering former senior senator, Teddy Boy, almost palatable by comparison.

I’ve been saying for a while I don’t think Hillary will be the Dem nominee. And her “it’s time for a woman president” meme won’t work against Warren. Neither will crying. And with the Pubs cooperating with Obama to pass amnesty and drive down wages, raising the minimum wage to 12-15 dollars an hour to “save the middle class” will be a winning issue for Democrats.

Ever notice that the liberals never speak of the “Founding Fathers”? They say the “Framers” or “Founders” instead. I heard that they do this because of women’s lib. Even though all of the nation’s founders were men, it’s sexist against women to refer to them as men.
I think more and more Democrats see HIllary as someone whose time has passed, and cannot win. They are now turning to Warren as their best hope for another "historic" candidate.

As if that’s even possible. The smarmy Dick Turban compared our troops in Iraq to the Waffen SS. Called out by El Rushbo, Turban took to the floor & denounced his critics as unfair & lying about him.
Warren is an ugly woman and isn’t charismatic. Those two things along with no connection to the people outside of the northeast will hurt her
if Sen. Durbin is for her, I don’t care who she is, I’m against her....why Illinoians keep electing thst jackass is beyond me.
