Florida Democratic Congressman Alan Grayson, the 17th richest Member of Congress with a net worth of $26 million, whose wife and children are currently on public assistance, took to his blog Wednesday to opine on why his party was beaten so handily in the midterm elections. It wasnt policy, it wasnt the economy, it wasnt jobs, it was hatred of President Barack Obama.
In a post on his blog entitled, The issue was Obama-hatred, and featuring a picture of the president as the devil, the Democrat attacked the American people for having the attitude of, in his words, We hate President Obama, and you should too.
Citing a joke he claims to have overheard at Disney World when a father said, Blame Obama, Shawn. Its all Obamas fault, as his evidence, the Congressman best known for absurdist appearances on MSNBC and rambling House floor speeches, says hatred of the president is why Democrats now have so few representatives in government.
His analysis, littered with links to a page where people can donate to his reelection, is that Republicans ran an issueless, issue-phobic campaign. I dont remember any of them promising to suppress voting, prohibit all abortions, indulge polluters, give huge tax breaks to billionaires and multinational corporations, gut Social Security and Medicare and shred the right to organize even though thats exactly what theyre going to do. Instead, the Republicans said Obama stinks, and were against him. In fact, that was all they said. (Emphasis is his, where he embedded his fundraising link. The link has been removed.)
He concluded his post with (again, the bold is his, the links have been removed):
There was an oft-circulated post-election chart pointing out that Obama had slashed the federal deficit, slashed unemployment, increased consumer confidence, etc., etc. But I would venture to say that none of that matters to those voters who had become convinced that Obama is Beelzebub. Or Mephistopheles. Maybe both.A new Gallup poll show the Americans, by a margin of 53 to 36 percent, want Republicans to set the agenda for the country, not Obama. Gallup also found the popularity of the Democratic Party to be at an all-time low of just 36 percent.Obviously, there are other lessons to be learned from the 2014 election. One could, for instance, compare the 18-point loss of Mark Pryor, who campaigned as the Most Conservative Democrat in the Senate, to the 11-point victory of, uh, me. Surely there are plenty of lessons to be learned from that compare-and-contrast.
But the only lesson that matters to the GOP is this: What President Clinton called the politics of personal destruction works for them big time. Which is why I can predict, unfortunately, that over the next two years, well be seeing a lot of this:
Courage,
Rep Alan Grayson
Obama’s policies have been a disaster for the county - from Johnathan Gruber lies about Obamacare to the latest Chinese rip off agreement. Don’t care for either Lieawitha or Hillary’s million dollar speeches ...or Gruber for that matter or even Bernie Madoff - they’re all self serving scammers.

is the FL 9th CD specifically composed of retards?
Maybe a president who is hated so much should resign and live outside the country.
What about hatred of Bush? Guess that’s why Obama won. It’s ok for lib nuts to hate.
It is not the only reason, but it is a good one.
Hey alan, we hate all you communist equally may you burn in hell for eternity.
I noticed he’s using Dan Rather’s favorite sign-off, ‘Courage’ to close this lying, mentally defective drivel, I had to laugh at the flashback it gave me...
Amazing how Dem reps like Grayson are racing to the bottom to see who can say the most stupid, biased and lying thing. They have one heck of a competition.
Well no...It is the hatred of Obama and Democrat congressmen/women that we won...
The Founders wrote a Constitution that protects the rights of clowns, of evil people, of dumb people, of illegals of liars and of people who hate the Constitution and yet expected the country to survive.
Even sadder is fact the GOP-controlled Florida legislature hasn’t gerrymandered Grayson into a Republican-majority district.
Hatred No!
Obama Mentiroso
i.e.,
Liar
Hate has its place.
Hebrews 1:9 - Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
Amos 5:15 - Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.
Psalms 119:163 - I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I love.
Proverbs 6:14-17 - Frowardness is in his heart, he deviseth mischief continually; he soweth discord. Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly; suddenly shall he be broken without remedy. These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood.
Psalms 97:10 - Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
Ecclesiastes 3:8 - A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
As Ecclesiastes tells us, for everything there is a time, even for hate.
I hate Biden too!
Where did Grayson get the candids of Zero and Hillary?
sadly
So.
White people elected this clown. Where is the racism there??
That’s right; the Dem candidates lost on their own lack of merits. They were supporters of an agenda that I guess disagreed with their constituencies.
Who would have thought that after electing Obama twice, Americans would still be accused of racism?
(Actually, I suspected as much)
