In July, former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin wrote a widely-publicized op-ed for Breitbart News. Enough is enough of the years of abuse from this president, she wrote. Without borders, there is no nation. Obama knows this. Opening our borders to a flood of illegal immigrants is deliberate. This is his fundamental transformation of America. Then, she dropped the bomb: Its time to impeach; and on behalf of American workers and legal immigrants of all backgrounds, we should vehemently oppose any politician on the left or right who would hesitate in voting for articles of impeachment.
Believe it or not, Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) had actually suggested impeachment even earlier, this time over the Bowe Bergdahl prisoner swap, in which the Obama administration freed five top-level Taliban terrorists in exchange for the alleged deserter. He stated, There will be people on our side calling for his impeachment if he did that. And Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA) said in March that Obama could be up for impeachment if he continued his unconstitutional approaches to immigration reform and Obamacare.
But it was Palins comments that drove ire. At the time, Palins critics leapt on the comments to suggest that Republicans more broadly were planning impeachment; House Speaker John Boehner immediately fired back, stating that he disagreed with Palin on impeachment.
There were some who defended Palins position Mark Levin explained, our country is being destroyed
.Heres the dead truth. Obama should be impeached, but he wont be impeached. Obama should be impeached if the Republicans take the Senate, but he wont be impeached if the Republicans take the Senate. Obama has committed high crimes and misdemeanors by violating the constitution.

No politician wants to be blamed.
Yes, he came out and the Senate and knows many of them well. He'd at least work with Congress and I don't think he'd continue pursuing Obama's radical, anti-American agenda.
Both would result in the ideal treatment for what ails our country.
Right. Biden doesn’t hate our country. He’s not out to destroy it, and he’s not a Muslim.
Thank you. Good to see you, too.
She’s almost always right!
This was a ploy during the election campaign also. “Don’t talk about impeachment! That’s what the Democrats want you to do!” Okay, we can play The Election Is Now Over too. Time to talk about what we really want without scaring the Dems.
If amnesty is signed all US workers should stop work for two weeks. That should get Barrys attention.
Impeach, convict, remove from office, try, convict, imprison.
That’s what Obama deserves...and his henchman Holder too.
Actually that was just another RINO ploy pushed by RINO supporters to shut conservatives up and get their RINO elected. They are now in “We can’t” and “Thats stupid” mode.
Mark Levin, for example, could put together a Bill of Particulars of all the stuff Odumbo could be impeached for. But all I hear Levin do is yap around the edges. It’s absolutely necessary to put a prosecutable list of charges together before the next step can be taken.
I’ve said for years that a provisional court , held on the steps of SCOTUS, under the authority of the Tenth Amendment, Would be the direct way to depose his highness. I’ll be there if I can get some help.-——Semper Fi
It certainly wasn’t the conservatives who were saying it. It was okay then, though. It might even have helped us a bit. But now we have no such excuse. “Impeach” was my tag line for a while a few years ago but I didn’t have much company.
I'm no convinced that the Senate would fail to convict.
Bill Clinton was a VERY popular President and had universal support in his party.
The same is not true for Obama.
There's a decent chance, if properly presented, Impeachment would result in Conviction.
80% of the American People are opposed to "Executive Amnesty". That's a very powerful force.
It's not the "trivial" sex thing.
Levin, like many on the right, totaled any cred they had when they went out and told their listeners to vote Romney after spending years telling them not to.
He’s not unintelligent. He’s like Rush. An entertainer. Rush admits it openly. Levin does not. If any of these guys really believed the things they say, they’d act on them and not merely profit from them.
Plenty calling themselves conservatives did. It never helps to do the wrong thing.
Trey Gowdy was asked yesterday if he would consider impeaching the President. His reply:
“Have you met Joe Biden?”
“...House Speaker John Boehner immediately fired back, stating that he disagreed with Palin on impeachment. ..”
Well, gee.... he WOULD, now, wouldn’t he..
This is what happens when we have a Butt Boy instead of a REAL House Speaker.
Trey Gowdy for Speaker of the House NOW...!!!
“Now, it appears, impeachment talk is reaching the supposed mainstream of the conservative commentariat.”
Hope it becomes a wave!
Thank God.
I don’t see how Congress can uphold the Constitution without impeachment of a president who simply chooses to ignore the law.
If Obamas acts stand without impeachment or recourse Congress will become illrelevent. Why after all should a President be disposed to uphold an existing law s/he don’t like when they can simply do as Obama has done and ignore or change it until congress decides to “officially” change it to his liking.
So why does Obama need the law to “officially change” at all when his “temporary change” can last as long as he like and change whenever he likes. Fairly soon it becomes obvious most particularly to the president making law what he wants thou “temporary changes” that it really doesn’t matter whether or not congress makes a “permanent change”, as he can always just make anther “temporary change” and so can any successor president.
Believe it or not this “temporary power” also know justified as an “emergency power” is generally the exact same justification and power that defines the beginning of most dictatorship. There is always some extraordinary circumstance that justifys the emergency assumption of extraordinary power on a “temporary basis” only it isent temporary.
The GOP haven’t got the balls. Their overpaid consultants and whispered into their ears that the impeachment of Clinton “hurt” them at the polls.
Of course, no real evidence of that. They believe the same nonsense on any government shutdown.
If they are going to just throw away their constitutional powers under Article I then why are they there? Oh yeah, according to the RINO caucus of FR we “had to put them in power to stop...uh stop...uh I don’t know but we just HAVE TO!!!”
