Call this Gruber 2: Stupid and Stupider. Jonathan Gruber attempted to escape scrutiny for his October 2013 declaration that Americans are stupid and that ObamaCare was designed to exploit that and hide its true nature by saying that he regretted his off the cuff comments. I basically spoke inappropriately, he told Ronan Farrow, and I regret having made those comments.
Last night, though, a second video emerged from the same time period in which Gruber explained that the ACA passed because the American people are too stupid to understand the law. Megyn Kelly wondered last night how this squared with Grubers mea culpa on that little-watched MSNBC show:
...
Rep. Trey Gowdy says, I cant even get past the irony to get to the arrogance. ... Its an object lesson, Gowdy says, on the dangers of passing comprehensive legislation like immigration reform, for which Republicans can now make Gruber the poster boy for the Obama administrations credibility.

Shear poetry.
Gruber’s 4th video, not made public yet: “Obama was not born in Hawaii as he claims. Americans are stupid, and they believe that Obama was born in Hawaii because they have blind faith in Obama, even though the information right in front of their faces prove that Obama was NOT born in Hawaii as he claims.” Joke, I think.
Agreed. Unfortunately most of the voting public chose not to educate themselves about the goings-on in D.C., economics, immigration, etc. And so we have the dangerous mess we have now.
“Voters are stupid” It’s proven every time Watters (from the O’Reilly Factor) goes on an College Campus to interview students.
Great is the slip, twixt the cuff and the lip.
Not even McGruber can contrive a way out of this.
Works for me.
The surest evidence of American stupidity is their twice-elected Kenyan communist.
