The GOP ousted three incumbent Democrats and held all but one of their existing seats to reclaim a majority in the Senate - the Republicans only stronghold in state government.

More good news.
Yes indeed, good news.
Article 5 convention now! We’ll never get another chance.
It would be better news in the face of “my commission!” Cuomo getting back in, too.
Republicans wore 32 out of the 63 senate seats. The Working Families director (read: Acorn) has this to say about Diblasio’s efforts.
“Bill Lipton, director of the Working Families Party, ended the night with a blast at the governor over the Senate results.
‘Governor Cuomo promised to take back the state Senate. Instead, he squandered millions on a fake party, and left millions more in his campaign account as New York Democrats in the legislature and in Congress withered on the vine’.
I believe that Obama was accused of the same. What happens to all that fund raising money for their party if it isn’t used? Is that now their golden parachutes?
Too bad Cuomo used all those "Hurricane Sandy" funds for his "Start up New York" advertizing across the country.
Now the commies and Socialists are covetous of Cuomo's financial reserves.
Next thing you know , they'll start eating their young .
Good information. I hope their bickering is out in the open. We need to prevent Di Blasio from becoming the presidential nominee.
Good. Now repeal the SAFE ACT.
This slimeball sold out his own party to reassure his own election.
I take that back.
That was disparaging to slimeballs.
I could not agree more!
The SAFE ACT got presented because Cuomo wanted to demonstrate that he was more liberal than Obama; therfore he called the State Senate into 'emergency session'.
The next day Obama was expected to issue new guidlines for Federal guidelines for more Gun Control.
The bill came right from the Governor's office and had been prepared in advance for just such an opportunity. Cuomo was trying to show that he was more progressive than Obama.
Less than 10 minutes after Senate quorum was established, the bill was presented and passed (with most senators not even reading the bill: typical Dumbo-Crat herd mentality).
The only discussion occurred in the House where people did read the bill , and there was lively discussion and discension.
Some parts of the bill were excluded in the House
What most people fail to realize is the original bill submitted by Cuomo ,
called for the confiscation of ALL FIREARMS in the State, and NO FINANCIAL COMPHENSATION to firearms owners.
The passed bill later had to be modified to allow (?) police officers to carry firearms.
This is proof that this was a hurried bill with little intellectual consideration by the Governor.
You really think this creep would have a chance?
Not one vote in flyover country/
Flyover is looking really purdy these days, all red, although, I wish we could reclaim our blue hue, rather than commie red.
I am just trying to think who they have on the bench. We have to help them put up the weakest candidate, just like they have been doing to us.
To add insult to injury, NY has a nearly all GOP House delegation apart from Democratic seats in NY and part of Long Island.
That’s gotta hurt!
If the hildabeast declines to run the Dems are in a quandry.
They gots NOTHING.
Well back in Dec 2007, everybody thought Hillary was “inevitable”.
Then some guy named Hussein from Kenya by way of Chicago snuck in and stole the kishka.
Chances of a repeat in 2016? Definitely possible. The Chicago Mob has a trump card over the Clinton Crime Family.
I keep an eye on the other side. In races where Barq was not invited, Elizabeth Warren was greeted warmly. She was very popular stomping all over the country, although I do not know the outcome of her help. She has a very simple-minded populist message.
Maybe they will nominate her, and her run will go as well as Wendy Davis’ s in TX>
I would love to listen in on a partyline with all the Pajama Boys and hear their frets for 2016.
One of the final polls in NY had Junior Cuomo ahead by 70-30 -I believe the little creep wound up with something like 54%
