Not going to be the usual Democrat love fest today; no yucking-it-up over how great the democrats did on 11/4. If they could, they'd all cancel and take a week off.

The uh-ohs, bitching and moaning, woe is me, tears, fangs, and blame for stupid voters, it's all going to be sweet.

President George W. Bush is giving even odds about whether another Bush will try to occupy the White House.

George Bush tells CBS’ “Face the Nation” that his brother, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, is “wrestling with the decision” about running in 2016.

George Bush says it’s a 50-50 chance that Jeb Bush will go for it.

Curbelo starts off on the right foot on immigration and sharply veers to the left:

Immigration

Our nation like any other nation has the right and the duty to secure its borders. We must know who is coming into and who is leaving our country, and we must insist that all border traffic be legal. The recent influx of unaccompanied children has exposed the challenges we face at the US-Mexico border. This must be addressed. We also have to reform our visa system. Nearly half of all the people living in our country illegally have overstayed their visas. It is unacceptable for a great nation like ours to be incapable of tracking visa holders. Our immigration system also requires an expanded guest worker program to help fill the jobs Americans do not want (especially in agriculture), and an earned path to legalization for the undocumented who have abided by our laws and contributed to our economy. This last cohort must be held accountable for their illegal entry into the country. A fair solution is also warranted for those who were brought to the country by their parents as minors. American meritocracy tells us that these children should not be judged by the actions of their parents.

From here...

Would he be saying the same thing about millions of Poles, Germans, Irish, etc?

I heard Cory Gardner, Senator-Elect from Colorado on FOX News Sunday.

Good God....”immigration reform,” “Broken system,” etc.

Is he a RINO? He sure sounded like one in that interview with Chris Wallace. GOP once again pandering to “hispanics.”
It was hard to swallow my pancakes while listening to that interview.

Seeing as how the traitor Tom Donohue and the U.S. Chamber of Amnesty gave boatloads of cash to all these senate campaigns, I guess I should not be surprised.

And how about getting Democrats to go along on a Veto Over-Ride on the Affordable Health Care Act?

First, within a week of the ‘new’ (increased) rates being released on Nov 15, have a 6 hour seminar for the low information media.

Have many Experts on the 2000 page bill dissected it point by point, with 30 minutes for each expert to speak 15 minutes, then take questions for 15 minutes.

Then have a 2 page ‘Replacement’ bill ready to go, so all the good stuff Carl Rove tells them to save can be used to bring reluctant Democrats along.

And no Kentucky Bourbon meetings for Mitch McConnell, no golfing with Boehner, - it’s time Elected Republicans show they want the job by doing what it takes to work without the many breaks and vacations, no socializing with Democrats/Media during your term.
