President Obama chose Loretta Lynch, the U.S. attorney in Brooklyn, N.Y., as his nominee to replace outgoing Attorney General Eric Holder Friday.
Obama plans to announce Lynchs nomination Saturday at a White House event. If confirmed, Lynch will become the first African-American woman in the job, succeeding Holder, who was the first African-American head of the Justice Department.

Congressman Issa should immediately subpoena her to appear before congress, before Harry Reid can give her a rubber stamp. It’s a win-win.
1) If she refuses to testify before congress, she ruins her credibility before her dog-and-pony show at the senate.
2) If she foolishly does testify before Issa, he can give her all the opportunity in the world to foul up horribly ahead of time. He also likely has lots of juicy dirt on her.

Obama wants Harry Reid to fast-track confirmation during a lame-duck session while the Democrats still have their majority.
I’m sure they’d be happy to do it.

yes....when holder comes clean. put holder under oath, and find out what he knows. do the rinos have the cajones to do it? @ this stage, after the election results, Americans would overwhelmingly support that.

The GOP must delay this until January, then make it all about Fast and Furious, the AP and James Rosen spying, etc, and drag it out for 2 months. Make EVERY SINGLE THING an attack from now on to cripple this lawless bastard. NO compromise. NO conciliation. As Michael Corleone would say “My offer is this...NOTHING”

Reid will be pushing through every nominee that Obama can come up with before the end of the year.
And one of his last acts will be to reset the filibuster rule back to the original 60, instead of the current 51, so McConnell won't have to do it [/s].
I would doubt he would leave that 'weapon' on the books for the new Senate majority leader. I would also doubt the new Senate majority leader [assuming it is McConnell] would have the cajones to change the rule from 60 to 51, like Reid did.

The rule should be going forward....you went to Harvard Law, you are unqualified for positions of power. You mean like Ben Shapiro and Ted Cruz?

Is she a real deal or another dirty politician like holder, exchanging political favors for pardons?
I'm surprised you have to ask.

Eric Holder in a pantsuit!
Thankfully, confirmation is being postponed. She CAN be stopped. The problem is, McShame and Gayham will vote for her. So will Collins probably.
To: Don Corleone
For claricifications, one need only discern whether Bloomberg likes her or not.
