Obama met with Republican leaders today at the White House for a “bipartisan lunch.”
This was his first meeting with Republican leaders after Democrats were shellacked in the midterm elections.

Obama lashed out at Republicans when the cameras were turned off.
The AP reported:
Republicans attending the postelection lunch at Obamas invitation said they asked him for more time to work on legislation, but the president said his patience was running out. He reiterated his intent to act on his own by the end of the year if they dont approve legislation to ease deportations before then and send it to him to sign.
The Republicans approach, three days after they resoundingly won control of the Senate in midterm elections, seemed to fall on deaf ears, Sen. John Cornyn of Texas said in a telephone interview. The president instead of being contrite or saying in effect to America, I hear you, as a result of the referendum on his policies that drove this last election, he seems unmoved and even defiant.
I dont know why he would want to sabotage his last two years as president by doing something this provocative, said Cornyn…
…The meeting was tense at times, according to a senior House Republican aide. The aide was not authorized to describe the back-and-forth publicly by name and spoke only on condition of anonymity.
Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid, about to lose his grip on the upper chamber, barely said a word. The aide said at one point as House Speaker John Boehner was making an argument on immigration, Obama responded that his patience was running out and Vice President Joe Biden interrupted to ask how long Republicans needed. Obama angrily cut Biden off, the aide said.

The republican answer to everything Obama says should be his own words—
If you dont like my policies, go out there and win an election.
The public doesn’t support your policies, obama, it is therefore the republicans DUTY to oppose them.
Once a thug always a thug.
Look at the radicals around him. The butt kicking he took Tuesday won’t change him.
Alinsky cultists do not change.
In complete meltdown mode.
Eboma’s PO’d because he will no longer be able to vote ‘present’. Eboma’s focus on helping foreign invaders and not Americans is very telling, too.
SOP for a communist dictator.
July 14, 2011:
“... According to sources, Obama said “enough is enough,” arguing forcefully for revenue increases to achieve the deficit reduction sought by the GOP.
“I’ve reached my limit. This may bring my presidency down, but I will not yield on this,” Obama said, before walking out.
“He became very agitated,” Cantor said. He called the president’s exit from the talks “abrupt,” and added that the two sides are “very far apart right now.”
That boy will never grow up.
There had damn better not be any "read my lips" moments coming up.
Oh, that was so bad!!!! LOL
I don’t know all the details of how this would have to work, but no budget - as required by law - has been passed by Congress and signed by Obama for five or six years. Government has been operating on the series of continuing resolutions to finance operations and another one is due soon.
Republicans should, as soon as possible, go through the proper budget process, through House and Senate committees, pass a reasonable budget, but defund all his illegal programs, and send it to Obama. If he won’t sign it, let him shut down government and explain it to the public day and night. Do not back down from the POS. It’s past time they starting fighting his every move until the end of his term.
The thin skin has always amazed me.
This is what happens when someone with no real qualifications whatsoever, is catapulted into a position for which he never really struggled; and is required to deal with things for which his background never prepared him. (Never governed anything, never ran a business, no military or foreign affairs experience, etc. Nothing in his background to suggest that he learned discipline, self-control, good judgement. Everything he’s done has been purely politically and ideologically motivated.)
Hopefully, next time, people will vote for at least a potential statesman; and not a flash-in-the-pan momentary ‘rock star’.

This is about the only action that will revive my faith in our form of government.
There must be consequences for breaking the law.
You do not win if you do not fight
Is he wearing Beats headphones?
The professed willingness of JugEars to compromise lasted less than 24 hours. He’s back to his default “my way or the highway” stance.
Now let’s see how much spine McConnell and Boehner have.
It will probably take at least 6 months of constant baiting to get Obama to really crack and do something so truly egregiously stupid and wrong that an impeachment will succeed. Until then the GOP should be like the raven, tap, tap, tapping upon his chamber door.
What a dog roll. He’s going to ram it thru just the way they did CommieCare.
Obama’s spitefulness will be his downfall.
patience is running out.
That is exactly what took his comrades out of office.
"Only this and nothing more."
Boy, did that bring back memories!
