Obama met with Republican leaders today at the White House for a “bipartisan lunch.”
This was his first meeting with Republican leaders after Democrats were shellacked in the midterm elections.

Obama lashed out at Republicans when the cameras were turned off.
The AP reported:
Republicans attending the postelection lunch at Obamas invitation said they asked him for more time to work on legislation, but the president said his patience was running out. He reiterated his intent to act on his own by the end of the year if they dont approve legislation to ease deportations before then and send it to him to sign.
The Republicans approach, three days after they resoundingly won control of the Senate in midterm elections, seemed to fall on deaf ears, Sen. John Cornyn of Texas said in a telephone interview. The president instead of being contrite or saying in effect to America, I hear you, as a result of the referendum on his policies that drove this last election, he seems unmoved and even defiant.
I dont know why he would want to sabotage his last two years as president by doing something this provocative, said Cornyn…
…The meeting was tense at times, according to a senior House Republican aide. The aide was not authorized to describe the back-and-forth publicly by name and spoke only on condition of anonymity.
Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid, about to lose his grip on the upper chamber, barely said a word. The aide said at one point as House Speaker John Boehner was making an argument on immigration, Obama responded that his patience was running out and Vice President Joe Biden interrupted to ask how long Republicans needed. Obama angrily cut Biden off, the aide said.

And the nationwide riots that would ensue would be the underscore.
A year ago, the prospect of Obama’s removal might well have caused American blacks to go into a state of insurrection. But now that chance is gone. Even his own people don’t believe him anymore.
IMO an accurate poll would show at least 80% of blacks are still in Obamabola’s corner. Whether some would riot over his removal may be debatable. I think they would.
Our boy king showed his true color, and aides/media no longer too afraid to speak out.
More people should provoke him more often. Can’t wait for the whole world to see clearly what a rabid dog he is.
Obama responded that his patience was running out and Vice President Joe Biden interrupted to ask how long Republicans needed. Obama angrily cut Biden off, the aide said.
That 80% might be like the loony Minnesota voters, publicly afraid to go against him, but not willing to fulfill his hope that they will actually take to the streets, and they decide to stay home, and watch it on tv.
If they don’t go out “full on” rioting, his ideological notion that civil unrest could be used to instill martial might be squelched by calmer heads in the military and police.
Wouldn’t that frost his delusions of grandeur!
Then we might see him really melt down, when he has to face the constitutional limits of his powers being thwarted by the citizens’ disinterest.
Ferguson could be the test, so let’s pray for an arctic blast from Canada making them all want to stay inside where it is warm.
At least, that is my dream of how it all goes down. I am probably wrong, but at least I can look for a silver lining.
Cruz fought to have the continuing resolution extend only until March 1, so that the new Congress would have a voice in the budget.
But McConnell and Boehner outgunned him.
They both continually prove their worthlessness. There were two decent possibilites:
1. The current CR extended past the lame duck session.
2. The current one ended during the lame duck, as it does, but with no agreement on the length of the next one.
They just caved and won neither of those compromise positions.
bkmk
Yesterday Bill 0'Reilly proclaimed that he was shocked to learn that 70% of families have an income of under $50,000.00. That boys and girls is why you will never get real news from the DC crowd, because they are separated from reality.
They think no one is upset that hamburger has hit $4.00 a pound, probably because they don't know that it has.
Just like when GW took office and showed us what the Clinton gang did to the Peoples House. Nothing will be done to these people, they have the same code the monarchs of Europe held.
If the piubies back down they will be the next to fry come 2016. Give him enough rope to hang himself in public for all to see
He will learn the meaning of “defunding”.
He's got a pen and a phone and he knows you'll cave, John.
On Today this morning Obama sycophant Lester Holt told Senator John Thune, who was already bending over backwards to seem conciliatory to Obama during their interview, that one thing that could be taken from the election results was the American people wanting those in DC to “play nice together”. Even Thune didn’t take that bait although he didn’t actually respond forcefully either.
When the Democrats swept into power in 2008, a Russian friend asked me what was going on. I told him that Americans have no understanding of what communism is. He didn't respond. He just looked sad.
Cornyn doesn't understand Marxism.
Obama has to desire to listen to the American people or to accede to their wishes.
Due diligence requires, at the very least, going through the motions, and the public demands it.
But we know that they'll fail on the second part of their due diligence, which is kicking Zero's ass in private.
Perfect!
“Send him a bill from the congress and senate. If he doesnt sign it put it through again and override him.”
The way it works is if he does not sign it, it automatically becomes law.
I believe you meant to say if he vetoes it.
Is anyone surprised?
