SALEM, Mass. – A video showing a little girl with pigtails screaming at a street preacher to ‘shut up’ as she relentlessly mocked him and his message of redemption through Jesus Christ has gone viral.
The video posted on Live Leak, which has been viewed more than 250,000 times, shows a child approaching Austin Coppock, who had been preaching on Salem’s busy Essex Street pedestrian mall during the city’s annual Halloween celebration.
Salem, which is also known as “The Witch City” and where police uniforms and patrol cars are even marked with the slogan and an image of a witch on a broom, hosts an annual event attracting tens of thousands of people to the city streets. This year police estimated upwards of nearly 100,000 people visiting the city for the annual celebration...
Agreed! Pray for those who mistreat us...
2 Kings 2:

I think that street preachers violate the “do not cast your pearls before swine” dictum. They have a right to do what they do, but I think they do more harm than good.
Yep. She has to live with this for many years to come.

Ugly inside that is erupting forth in her face and words.
“No one is listening!” she screeches. . .but obviously she is. . .typical. . .liberals and logic cant coexist no matter what their bumper-sticker says.
We don’t know that! There are plenty of screaming atheist hetero women in the world, too.
But she probably needs a good exorcism—preferably by an Orthodox priest!

It is possible that they do this (in my opinion) if they are rude and call names and do not have the love of Christ. Even John the Baptist and the prophets of old who warned the people of sin, impending judgment, and guilt before G-d showed love.
The AC mom or the DC mom? She will be a highly sought out student when she comes of college age. Imagine all the sit ins. Maybe she can major in gender or ethnic studies, or sociology!

True, and if no one (other than the kid) is listening, then what's the harm of letting the young man speak? Why tell him to shut up? Little Bratty McBratterson could have just walked away.
With all the attention this is getting, I wonder whether someone will track down the little darling and her rotten mother and interview them. That will be interesting.

No kidding. I wanted to reach into my screen and give her a good flick along side the ear. My Dad used to do that; the old finger flick. Used to hurt for what seemed like an hour.

A friend of mine is a full time evangelist who does a good deal of street presentations. He teaches others his techniques which are actually pretty good and often draws a good crowd. Microphones and yelling aren’t part if it. He’s got some stories but in about 30 years I doubt he’s ever come across something like that little girl.
I think the microphone was a mistake. Different strokes for different folks. IMO it’s best to make your presentation and allow folks to approach you, rather than blare. Still, I’d imagine there were a lot of competing noises out there.
I doubt many people come across something like that little girl either.
