A friend of mine is a full time evangelist who does a good deal of street presentations. He teaches others his techniques which are actually pretty good and often draws a good crowd. Microphones and yelling aren’t part if it. He’s got some stories but in about 30 years I doubt he’s ever come across something like that little girl.
I think the microphone was a mistake. Different strokes for different folks. IMO it’s best to make your presentation and allow folks to approach you, rather than blare. Still, I’d imagine there were a lot of competing noises out there.
I doubt many people come across something like that little girl either.
