I agree, I’ll bet he was serious about not voting, but later had to pretend he’d been kidding because it looked really bad.
When you make a living being a smartass, people don’t know when you’re not lying. This will really confuse the stoned kids who think his show is “the news”.
Vote participation records are public. A good reporter would look to find out if he voted or not.
Here Jo, type “how to find my polling place” in your search bar and it will come up with this:

and then you fill in your address ( look outside your door, since you are new to the place) and they will come up with the address of your polling place.
You can use your UPS for the rest. Don’t forget to pick-up your “I Voted Sticker” to wear on your lapel. I did.
