I am well aware that Wendy Davis lost the Texas governor’s race by a wide margin. It’s salt in a very personal wound. Her campaign meant a lot to me, and to so many other Texas women — thousands of whom stood in line for hours to cast their ballots in support. Greg Abbott won anyway, and he won by a lot. But he didn’t win by a lot across the demographic landscape.
I went to the Texas Tribune first for a dissection of the election results, and one piece of information struck me as particularly… wrong. The Tribune cited CNN exit polls to illustrate the landslide, saying Abbott “beat Davis by lopsided margins with white voters (72-27), men (65-34) and women (52-47). Davis beat Abbott among Latinos (57-42) and African-Americans (93-7).” Last time I checked, though, there were thousands upon thousands of women in Texas considered Latina and African-American — what about their votes?

The only consolation for Wendy Davis is she got more votes than MSNBC has viewers, so when they finally fire Ronan Farrow she can boast of a larger possible audience than the network currently has.
Insanity as a result of 4+ years of "higher education". I bet Ms. Kutner got A's in her Marxist Thought and whatever Blank Studies courses she took.

Ms. Kutner,
I am struck by the great irony that in this day and age when the GOP is assailed for being sexist, racist, or whatever other pejorative term is hurled their way, it is the left who passes judgment solely on demographics. Republicans like Mia Love and Tim Scott are sent to Congress by conservative voters because of their character, not their color.
Yet, the Democrats and left continues to moan and groan about gender, class and race. It is time that you move past those obsessions. However, I suspect that the real problem lies in the fact that the left is dependent upon despondency and disparity. You have no solutions to offer; therefore, you bitterly cling to your guns of mock outrage and gods of divisiveness.
May you find truth one day.
