Repudiation [GOP should stop "going gay"!]
Canada Free Press ^ | 05 Nov 2014 | Tim Dunkin

Posted on 11/05/2014 9:58:55 AM PST by Yashcheritsiy

To begin with, this election was, generally speaking, a rejection of the notion being advanced by many in the establishment wing of the Party that the Republicans needs to move to the Left on social issues like abortion and gay “marriage.” Earlier this year, GOP establishment leaders like Kevin McCarthy and Paul Ryan announced their plan to begin trying to recruit “Young Gun” candidates – socially liberal, and often homosexual, candidates to run under the Republican banner in an effort to “broaden the appeal” of the Party, especially to younger, socially liberal voters. John Boehner backed this effort, throwing money at the candidates who had been recruited to run this year. However, the voters who were supposed to be impressed by the GOP’s lurch to the Left on “individual choice” issues instead reacted with a collective yawn. In the race for the open seat in Massachusetts’ 6th congressional district, “Young Gun” Richard Tisei - a gay Republican who has a 100% rating from NARAL and Planned Parenthood, who (obviously) supports gay “marriage,” and who is “married” to his “partner” - lost by 15 points to a non-incumbent and relatively unknown Democrat. To give this some perspective, Tisei had ran for the same seat in 2012 against a well-known and long-time incumbent and lost by only a single point. It does not appear that Tisei’s choice to flaunt his peculiar lifestyle choice did him or the GOP any favors this time around...

Is limited government...peeking in to your bedroom to see if you are sleeping with the opposite sex?

You're a moronn. Nobody cares what you do in your bedroom. What we want is for you to KEEP IT THERE

Is limited government telling you that you must be quarantined for 21 days due to POSSIBLE ebola?

I just looked at “posting history” and it sounds pretty sad. This person might be someone attempting to recover from a buggery habit.

And you’ve just had a party over ousting him/her.

Has shame died?

It’s all the trolls. They’ll back off now that the election is over.

I hope. ;-)

I hear you. Time and time again we see a handful of liberaltarians come on here and then dictate what conservatives should accept.

They need to wake up that they are not conservatives and are in tune with liberals and communists on social issues

Free Republic is not a homosexual rehab site.

If the gentleman is a homosexual and does not want to be, he needs
to seek help from his clergyman and possibly a psychiatrist.

God knows, I wish my brother had approached someone like that
before he died of AIDS.

If you resolutely stay stiff and proud, you will miss God’s bus.

I’m not stiff and proud by any means. I’m about the most humble
sinner who begs for my Lord God’s forgiveness every single day.
Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior, and my God.

Judge not.

I was exposed to homosexuality by visiting with my brother and his
friends in my early 20s. They’re pretty miserable people, and I was
very sad to find that they are quite violent toward each other.

They killed themselves at an alarming rate. One day, my brother
came home from work and found his boyfriend literally hanging in
the closet. No. That is NOT funny in the slightest.

I have great sympathy for homosexual people, but a lot of them do
not want to be helped out of their difficulties. They don’t seem to
realize that the only way to be perceived as normal is actually to
be normal. Some recover, and some do not.

I hope and pray that more of them realize that they are more in
charge of their lives than they may think. And God is waiting for
them to ask forgiveness and turn toward His Divine Light.

Sorry all! I didn't want to start a war between us. What I wrote was to TheArizona supporting her being out.

I am sorry that you think I'm a troll, but I know most here are social conservatives. I'm fiscal conservative and I'm not that religious (neither is my wife, but I believe it is because growing up in CT).

I would like to ask you...without being called a troll. That is, what would you do if a friend or relative came out...? Would you accept them? I accept my nephew who came out. My landlord for my office is gay...should I move my office?

So in order to bring one light, you howl at what MIGHT be one (there was no explicit statement) and dance when they are ejected.

Yup, great bridge builder you, very lowly and humble.

SARC!!

“what would you do if a friend or relative came out...?”

Actually, that IS rather trollish as the implied statement behind it is “how dare you question it, you don’t understand”.

I have an uncle that is homosexual
That is how I know they are manipulative, duplicitous, conniving, miserable, and starved for any I and of acceptance just so long as they don’t have to admit they ever did anything wrong, ever.
They say one thing in your presence, then something diametrically opposed among their homosexual friends.

One does not need to embrace the behavior.
They saying is hate the sin, love the sinner.
It is the height of cruelty to show “idiot compassion”, i.e. embrace the behavior without telling the person the truth.

My brother is a homosexual. Don’t you know how to love someone without approving of their sin? It’s no different than an alcoholic or drug user. You love them but do not enable their sin.

It is no different than enabling a heroin user, or an alchy.
Which is why it is termed “idiot compassion”.
