If President Obama suffered a “shellacking” in the 2010 elections, then what he endured Tuesday night was nothing short of a vicious gangland beatdown the likes of which have rarely been seen before in the history of electoral politics.
This, of course, is a wonderful and well-deserved outcome. But beware: America now enters the two most dangerous years of her existence — or certainly the most dangerous since the Great Depression and possibly going all the way back to the Civil War.
Not to dismiss the promising results of Tuesday’s election.
Voters clearly and forcefully rejected the party, politics and policies of President Obama. They slapped his socialist agenda back into the days of Soviet gulags, where it belongs.
His grand visions of mighty government ruling unchecked over desperate ghettos have been snuffed out.
Gone, too, were the so-called “low-information voters” who have been coaxed to the polls since 2008 on lies and false promises that the federal government would solve all their problems.
They are used up and wrung out.
Even the onslaught of threats and desperate accusations in endless emails to their Obamaphones couldn’t motivate those people to the polls one more time.
Voters rejected the craven, crass and mafioso tactics of Senate Leader Harry Reid.....

Is the DNC bench so thin ( I think it is ) that they have to pull up a name out of the past and the only person I can think of that has a sense or normalcy and that is former Indiana Gov. Evan Bayh? FWIW, I predicted they would turn to him, and they haven't. If you remember he was a hot commodity in 08' and said No Mas, and dropped off the radar screen....
Jarrett might be gung-ho to rapaciously inflict the progressive agenda on a country that is clearly sick of it, but I am betting Choom Gang Barry is ready to coast ... a 2 year vacation with jets and a security detail ... maybe he will write (or have Bill Ayers ghostwrite) another autobiography ...
Treason is a capital crime.
I think the leftists know that unless they pull off a hail mary-type victory and achieve 100% control of this nation, they are not just going to prison, but the ringleaders could even be subject to capital punishment.
...Which would be an awesome plotline in Matt Bracken's next tome.
Might as well be a 'shoo' in. The Ruling Class Establishment see this as their moment and they will ensure no one dares stray from the line.
This GOP "victory" is being hailed as a repudiation of the TEA Party by Rove and his ilk.
Everyone will start to see by February, that Washington will not reform itself, nor allow itself to be reformed nor will it slow, stop or reverse the course of destruction Obama has set us on.
The few voices in Congress demanding justice and Constitutionality will be muted by the Leadership. Just you watch.
You got it…. or - they DO understand the forces in front of them, and are happy to go along with fundamental transformation because it gives them more power and money.
When the GOP Ruling Class takes a big dump on We The People, surrendering power back to Reid as a first order of business and do nothing (as the Leadership has already told us they will), come 2016 these same agents of the Party will come out to shame those of us who will only vote for a Conservative when Jeb is shoved down our throats.
By whom? McConnell told ABC news yesterday that investigating the Obama regime is "Not a priority" for the new Congress.
