Happy Election Day everyone! I figured I'd go ahead and get the election day thread started. Polls open on the east coast in a little less than an hour.
Please be sure to post observations of interest if you went to the polls today.
Governor 97 % reporting
Rick Scott ( REP ) 2,804,184 48%
Charlie Crist ( DEM ) 2,712,394 46%
Adrian Wyllie ( LPF ) 218,175 3%
This is so frustrating, because if the GOP had put forth even the smallest effort, Gillespie would have won.
McArthur wins NJ house seat
Once again...
IN-7 not that close in the end.
I’m on glass #2!
YES. CRIST LOSES!....
AGAIN!!!
Awesome thanks!!
This is killing me. Drinking this glass, will safe another for the celebration! Sorry, its just so stressful ;)
I’m with you, having some wine and stressing out. Have to switch between FOX and Modern Family for some relief.
Don’t feel bad. I live in insane Minnesota which re-elected Crazy Eyes Gov. Dayton and a@@hat Al Franken.
We got a good conservative Congressman in Tom Emmer to replace Michele Bachmann who is retiring.
Dang!
Interestingly, politico is no longer reporting results on VA.
Methinks we hear something interesting at 10:00 EST.
If Gillespie loses, we need to move to a 50% runoff situation. The libertarian siphoned off 50K votes.
Net +3 Senate, so far. Estimated +9 House, slightly ahead of 2010.
It’s looking on schedule so far, although I expect the close ones to fall to vote fraud as Dems stuff the ballot boxes in the last precincts.
Thom Tillis REP 1,144,356 48.90 %
Kay Hagan DEM 1,104,927 47.22 %
Precincts Reported:
75.24% (2,051 out of 2,726)
I think I just sent you the same idea...
Do I have sh!t on my face?
Has the race been called in Florida? I hope Crist loses. But haven’t heard a “call”....Miami Dade is dragging their feet....
