“”Ronald Reagan was attacked for the same things Ted Cruz is being attacked for,”
This is SO true. Reagan was the crazy, way out conservative who would turn off the middle voters everyone said.
The ran Ford, the dull moderate loser.

But the Gipper was smooth as silk, mellow like fine wine.
Very few have those qualities.
By the way news from Texas early voting is very good:
in Dallas County
Down -1.3%.
Up 10 to 14 % in Denton, Collin, Tarrant.

Is this Rand Paul related to that old nut that used to run every four years?

you guessed it...
and that is what makes me disturbed about him... like father like son, ya think?

I really like CRUZ and will support him, but the liberals are going to cream him on not being eligible even though we have have the Muslim from ??? where ever for eight years. a professional LIAR. with all his records under lock and key... I am just amazed at what has happened to the American, the land of the Free and Brave...it make me weep in my old age.
To: Mozilla
Hope the GOP listens to him. Moderates have ignored inspiring Conservatives & Reagan Dems and lost.

Tossing that Libtardian in there with Ted Cruz makes me question how conservative this Jack Welch really is. I’m not sure his advice amounts to much.

I saw that piece. He very matter of factly endorsed what Ted Cruz said on an earlier segment. He’s still got it.

I agree with Welch and think such a candidate actually gives the Republicans a better shot at winning. But it probably won’t happen. And I will still be voting for the Republican.

The Republicans have a rich tradition that they must uphold...snatch defeat from the jaws of victory!
Since the days of Ronald Reagan that has been their “shining star” and it must be upheld at all costs.
Don’t believe it? Just wait until you see who they will run for this next election (defeat). It sure as hell won’t be Ted Cruz.
