I’ve had so many disappointments recently, especially losing the supreme court decision to get rid of obamacare and Obama winning a second term, that I was going to stay home. But I am very happy that there was not a single vote from Republicans to pass Obamacare. Happy enough to try to kick that ole football being held by Lucy one more time.

The GOP establishment just can’t resist arrogantly grinding conservatives under their heels just a few more times before election day.

You want to purge the party? Do it from a position of strength. I’m all for a battle royale for the soul of the Republican Party, but not until AFTER the Democrats are vanquished.... But for the good of the country, you’ll live in “now” and work for the future.

Derek Hunter nails it, and offers the best, soundest, most prudential advice: Go VOTE; vote GOP so to vanquish the Democrats. We have to staunch the bleeding before the "patient" — our American civil order — can be restored to health again. Otherwise, the patient will just bleed out and die. What would that mean for our kids and grandkids?

Thanks for the post Kaslin.

The Republican establishment wants to pass amnesty and destroy the country.

And I’m supposed to be a sucker and give them my vote to do it?

I still have principles - and my vote has to be earned. The party has not earned my trust.

I see no reason to vote for it and its candidates.

There’s nothing going to stop me from voting this Tuesday.
No way, I would want to give any communists (Reid / Obama) any more power. I can’t believe there are some posting on this thread in admitting they have not voted for many years.
The only way, I do not vote for a republican is if they support radical immoral issues (abortion / redefining marriage). If a democrat was a conservative vs. the republican being liberal, I would support them.

This sounds like it was written by Obama himself. Hold your nose and vote to improve things a little when that’s what your ballot offers.

That’s how the libs gained power, and it works. Certainly works better than sitting home and “being right.”

A vote for anyone other than the Republican, no matter who that Republican is, is a vote for Harry Reid and Barack Obama.

Not in the People's Republic of NY.

For the most part, our votes are throw-away votes. They are meaningless.

Except for one race this year and that's the one for Congress between Katko and Maffei.

Maffei is the dem incumbent and is taking an absolute beating in the polls and by the media. They are actually endorsing Katko, to the shock of mr. mm and me.

In the US, we vote instead of having violent revolutions.

If you advocate not voting...that is that your only recourse. Either that, or dying under tyranny and letting some future patriot try to fix it.

Either way...thanks a lot.

I think the author, in their alimentary canal view, has forgotten one small thing:

ALL THOSE FOLKS THAT ARE IN MILITARY CEMETERIES ... DIED ... SO Y’ALL CAN GET OFF Y’ALL’S FAT YES,YES,YES AND VOTE!!!

The Republican message this election is (Don't vote for the other guy)

Hold your noses people. A Conservative in the WH will change both
houses and the Republican party. They will have no choice.

This article is bull shyte.

It presumes that the insults and injuries from the GOPe should be ignored - because the GOPe isn’t the dem party.

The drum beat is idiotic, as are those who dance to its tune.

Is there ANY depth of depravity that the GOPe can descend to that would affect some FReepers’ adoration of their bowel movements?
