We all get inspiration in different ways, I guess.
I find nothing inspiring about some guy shouting his preference for, well you know.

He was outed a while ago. Some TV panel of talking heads was discussing important business leaders who have been very public about their homosexuality, and one doofus said, "And of course there's Tim Cook ..."
And everyone on the panel got reeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaal quiet.
Doofus says, "He's -- he's not out?"
Somebody said, "Well, I guess he is now."
But it's nice for Tim to make if official. [/s]

He said he was proud.
What is there to be proud of?
That his butt hurts?

“Coming out” is a really stupid idea for a fortune 500 CEO. What did they think the benefit would be?

If you have to “come out” from something, it’s either drug addiction, sex perversion, or a blizzard. Only one of those is not man made.

"Coming out" is probably not that big a deal. Although why anyone would want to publicly brag that he is an unrepentant sinner and a pervert, is beyond me.
Publicly stating that one's sinful behaviour is a 'gift from God' is a big deal and is utterly blasphemous and contemptible. Prayers for the sad man, and others that are so far trapped in their sin, and blinded, that they even deny that it is sin. There is time for repentance on this side of the grave - but not when they march off into eternity. For the unrepentant and unwashed, all that remains is a fearful looking for their judgement that is due.

Inquisition from HR department coming soon: have you now or have you ever considered homosexuality to be a sin?
Anyone answering yes must suffer mandatory “sensitivity training”, public humiliation and possible loss of job. (see Mozilla CEO banishment)

why is it “inspirational”?

After that millionth year in the torment of hell, Tim mind not find it so inspirational.
Romans 1:27 Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.
32 Although they know Gods righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.
Homosexuals (and those who approve or “tolerate” it) will burn. Period. There is no straddling the fence on this one. The perversion is too great.
Read all of Romans 1:18-31

Did Tim Cook grow up attending church in Alabama? If so, where did he go?
