Kaci Hickox, the Maine nurse who treated Ebola patients and is locked in a standoff with the governor over quarantine rules, has been temporarily ordered by a court to stay at least three feet away from other people and avoid public places.
Hickox, who has tested negative for Ebola and has no symptoms, has maintained that authorities in Maine violated her rights by demanding that she stay at home for 21 days. She took a defiant bike ride on Thursday morning, and Gov. Paul LePage said that she was testing his patience.
The court order, issued late Thursday, leaves room for Hickox to go outside but instructs her to stay away from public transit and workplaces, and not to leave the town of Fort Kent, where she has mostly been holed up in a house, without consulting with public health authorities.
The order applies “until further order of this court” on Friday. The order said that Hickox’s lawyers had agreed that she would follow the instructions until the court weighs in again....

Exactly. I'm sure obola and the powers that be know she doesn't have Ebola but have trotted her out there as their little show pony. This is nothing but a set up so they can slap down the states and citizens who are demanding flight and visa bans.
It is interesting to watch people who have it wrong, double and triple down on it.

Okay, so what is the law that authorizes quarantines by the fedgov? The state of Maine? Etc.
I live among others governed by laws, not some belief about a particular subject. That is how we get along in free society-actually, the higher law of God’s grace enlivens me to be better than the law- but I am subject to it nonetheless, I just don’t violate it.
But, no one will nor ought to tell another that they are restricted based on some real or perceived risk, no matter what popular opinion dictates-only what the law authorizes the gov to do. Ask 6 million Jews or 50 million under commie rule about obeying a government...
I’d rather be free than “secured” by a government. But that’s just me-and my how much I’ve changed since retiring from the Army.
What “sympathy” do you have for the millions of G.I.s who’ve been stuck in much shabbier tents, or muddy foxholes, or the steaming hot smelly holds of troop ships or worse for months and years with people trying to kill them? How is she better than them? She couldn’t put up with that for a week or two?
She was in a tent in the hospital parking lot.
She should be serving isolation in a decent location, but no, an idiot judge has sprung her. She’s a self-center bi__h.

As far as the soldiers being sent to Africa, King Putt is an idiot and it’s criminal to expose them to this disease.
