May the best team win
He was amazing. KC’s Ventura was excellent too.
Love to see talented people performing to the best of their abilities.
Love the game, too. It’s something that I’ve enjoyed since I was a kid.
Same here.
2nd place is the 1st loser. 2nd place is the 1st loser. 2nd place is the 1st loser. 2nd place is the 1st loser. 2nd place is the 1st loser. 2nd place is the 1st loser. 2nd place is the 1st loser. 2nd place is the 1st loser. 2nd place is the 1st loser. 2nd place is the 1st loser. 2nd place is the 1st loser. 2nd place is the 1st loser.
Lol
I'm still so upset with the sissified "Designated Hitter" concept, that I will not root for an American League team in the World's Series, no matter what.
So I was really pleased to see that silly rule bite KC in the ass.
Bochy didn't have to hurt his brain figuring out if he had to pull Bumgarner for a pinch hitter.
"Pitch on, Dude!"
Yes indeed...
But... they beat a whole lot of other teams in the process of becoming 2nd place.
All in all, it was a good series.
RE DH:
Yeah, the DH has been around for a long time. I don’t see it changing anytime soon. But it really doesn’t bother me overall... to me, it’s just another part of American Baseball.
Something to argue about, all friendly-like, over a cold beer and hotdog with your buds in the yard, during a barbecue, on a nice warm summer day... or in late October, even when you don’t “have a dog in the fight” so to speak...
And think of this... this SAME conversation probably went on between our grandfathers...
Our American game. Nothin’ else like it in the world.
Haha!!!!
Nice!
Yeah! Getting ready to see the sequel!
RE Sequel:
Well.... seeing as how Carey proved his lefty cred with his comments about what should be “done” to people who own AR15s after Sandy Hook... I won’t spend a dime on anything he does.
Loved “The Mask”. But the mask came off Carey, pretty much.
Roger that!
Going to a free screening next Wednesday; not giving him a cent.
Very funny....and true!! They were the same way with Kershaw until they lost.
Anyway, I turned off the TV the minute he threw the last pitch, did not want to see the people of San Fransicko celebrating!!!
I know it is a hard loss, KC is the better all around team. But there is no crying in baseball so, see ya next year!!
"Since we're here, how about seeing a game at old Candlestick Park?
If memory serves, this was supposed to be one of their better years...."
The White Sox have informed righty Felipe Paulino that they will not pick up his $4MM option. Chicago will instead pay him a $250K buyout.
In other news, the Phillies have invited Frank Rizzo to throw out the first pitch at their home opening day.
Sounds like a no-brainer to me, can’t give 4 mil for a guy coming of shoulder surgery who missed almost all of 2014 after he missed all of 2013....
Rick Hahn!

Why does Mel Tucker still have a job? I'm glad hockey is back, I'm hoping now that Hossa got his 1000th point that distraction will stay in the past.
Also my friend said he heard the Sox may go after Pablo Sandoval for third, you guys hear anything?
The Panda? That would be sweeeet. I heard the RED Sox are going after him but nothing about the White.
3rd base has had no stability since Crede broke down, poor guy, he could have had a hell of career if he could have stayed healthy. I still think he should have been the WS MVP.
Pablo Escobar: If the Gints (yes, Gints) no wanna him, why should anyone else? He looks like another Prince Fielder (fat, overpriced slob) waiting to happen.
