Barely a week after being named the 17th richest member of Congress, liberal firebrand and Democratic Rep. Alan Grayson is refusing to support his estranged wife and their kids, and his wife has turned to government food stamps to support her family, WFTV 9 Orlando reports.
Grayson’s marriage of 29 years dissolved earlier this year when his wife, Lolita Grayson, filed for divorce. A week later, Rep. Grayson asked a court to annul the marriage on the basis of bigamy.
Mr. Grayson is refusing to support his family because he is claiming that she was never divorced from her first husband and therefore their marriage was never legitimate.

Spot on...that’s what I was thinking. Married 29 years, and maybe the kids are from her previous marriage. Sooooo, maybe all the kids are grown and out of the house.
No doubt about that. Reid should be perp-walked into a supermax. Go figure on the odds of that ever happening. Years and years after Tom DeLay was framed, he has finally been declared innocent of all charges.

I saw a picture of dad, mom and what I assume to be their youngest daughter. She looks like she was 9 to 11 at the time so she would be well into her teens now.
Funny, for some reason I was thinking he was more down the east coast, Broward / Dade neck of the woods.
I miss the Central Florida of the 60s. Pre Disney. Winter Park Mall, Rocking Chair Theater at the Colonial Mall. Steak and Shake on 17-92. We did some heavy making out at the Winter Park Drive in the late 60s. Winter Park and Orlando Youth Centers.
Central Florida has absolutely no appeal to me now. I go there in January for a few days on business and sadly it just reminds me of the paradise that was lost.
