Police are investigating after a man reportedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a Long Island Rail Road train after brutally beheading a woman on Long Island Tuesday.
A woman in her 60s was found dead on Secatogue Avenue in Faramingdale, near the LIRR station, officials said.
Witnesses say she was the victim of the beheading. They told PIX11 News they originally believed it was a Halloween prank.

It was poorly written, what was meant was probably that at first glance it was taken for some kind of plastic model of a decapitated person rather than an actual human body. That is the only way I could think of that it might be called a prank.

Because a perp is a suspect and described as “alleged” until they are convicted, whereupon they are described as “convicted”

Oratem, I’m pretty sure Nota was making a joke about how WPIX SHOULD be Channel 9 because “IX” is “9”, not “11”.
“11” would make it WPXI.

They got an old Catholic high school, too. The Academy of St. Joseph used to be an all-girls Catholic school, but since it was run by an ageing, dying, hippy-dippy order (the Sisters of St. Joseph), it closed a few years ago.
So the Sisters of St. Joseph handed over a hunk of the (absolutely gorgeous) building to a Muslim school.

Oddly, yes. The guillotine was invented to be a gentler, quicker beheading.
How many more such incidents before people just take up vigilantism against these animals? It’ll be like the Wild west - if you see a muzzie (skull-cap ((not yamulke or turban!)), hijab, or burka), just start shooting?
One of the comments to the linked article contained that gem. There were many witnesses and they were talking to reporters.
