Hate crimes no doubt
Once in a while my son and I make a point to engage every person we pass in the grocery store with a ‘hello, how are you today’. I’d put it a 6 out of 10 who reply positively. The other 40% ignore it and don’t reply.

Ten hour period, Dozens of comments. Ok lets say three dozen. That is about 3 and a third comment per hour.
In my heyday, I could elicit 10 comments a minute, MINIMUM!
