A 24-year-old aspiring actress has been filmed being catcalled 108 times as she strolled around New York City - even though she was wearing a plain T-shirt, jeans and sneakers. Shoshana Roberts, a graduate of Kutztown University in Pennsylvania, was captured on a hidden camera by her friend, Rob Bliss, as she walked through the city's streets. Over a ten-hour period, she was pelted with dozens of unsolicited comments, including: 'What's up beautiful?', 'Hey baby', 'Smile' and 'Have a nice evening darling'. She was even followed by some men for several minutes, with one repeatedly asking her: 'You don't wanna talk? Because I'm ugly?' Others winked at her, whistled and made inappropriate noises.

Guilty.
Absolutely agree with you about Southern women...and with the rest of your post, too.
I’m 50 and I still get it. Sure, one day it will stop, but I’ve never seen it as anything but complimentary...men are visual, after all. Obscenities or vulgarities are a different thing, and I’ve never had a problem calling that out and shutting it down, and such instances have been rare. There was no need for me to write a blog and declare my victimhood.
My husband’s sister is 46 and gorgeous...we were talking one day, and she said, “Sooo, how long do you think it will be before we don’t have ‘it’ anymore?” Who knows? But it’s nice while it lasts.

Thanks, pal!
My wife is 50, as well. When she is working in the part of the garden near the road; I see men looking in the rear view mirror or over their shoulders at her as they are passing by...fortunately (for them); no catcalls or such...she’s an EXCELLENT shot. :-)
LOL
Conservative women reap the benefits of living right. ;)
Amen to that!
“Give her a few years and she will do anything to be noticed.”
She just did.
Most of them apparently go for a big booty. IMO she didn't even hit a 5 on the old Pecker Meter.
” In my heyday, I could elicit 10 comments a minute, MINIMUM!”
I bet you still do :)
Did you notice the two pound weights in each hand?
She was armed.
You can kill a person with those.
Better check those meds. You’re hallucinating.
Yeah, she was normal looking. She was pretty, but nothing too special.
“Shes a disgusting cow, a hideous malformed udder-jumper, a disgusting slime-ridden feces, a ratlike pestilence on America. I will rejoice when I hear she dies of Ebola.”
Dammit Laz, don’t hold back, tell us how you REALLY feel.
Well, all of the neighborhoods I recognized were in Harlem.
All the attractive girls in the ‘hood have kids before they turn 21. Guaranteed paycheck/housing from Uncle Sam and possibly some extra cash from a hustler baby daddy. The guys hitting on her are probably not hustler material.
“In my heyday, I could elicit 10 comments a minute, MINIMUM!”
Just post something on a Freeper Religious thread that is rather provocative...like”the pope is antichrist”....you’ll elicit a hundred comments a second!
And you’ll still hit it...even after she dies of Ebola?
(you wouldn’t have to worry about having to deal with that ‘after glow chit chat”)
Watch that guy again. At the :50 mark, she's behind him when he turns around to make a comment. He couldn't have known she was there or what she looked like unless he'd been in on the scam and cued. It's all a set up. Betting those other guys were in on it, too or there are very, very loney dudes in NY who get excited over very plain janes.

Yep but we don’t live in Yankeeland.
