1964: Within hours of Barry Goldwater's securing the Republican presidential nomination, CBS (don't recall the name of the reporter) went on the air and completely fabricated a story about neo-Nazis in Europe celebrating Goldwater's success. The idea, of course, was to imply that Goldwater was a neo-Nazi. The cruel irony was that Goldwater would be targeted for extermination if the Nazis had their way because his father was Jewish.
2004: During the height of the presidential campaign, CBS' Dan Rather presented in prime time a totally fabricated story about President George W. Bush allegedly going AWOL from the National Guard during the time he served there about 30 years previously.
So in addition to censoring real news that reflects badly on the Obama administration, CBS has no qualms about making up "news" that slanders Republicans. And their richly deserved lack of trust is why CBS News Nielsen ratings have been plummeting for decades.
Fake, but accurate. If only someone could fit that mantra within the CBS logo.

I love how the little tidbit about Joe Kennedy, the father, was a Nazi supporter. So much so that he was recalled from his ambassadorship from England.
So on top of being the party of slavery, the RATS are the party of Nazis. Why arent these facts being reported?
You know they wouldn't do that if someone brought evidence of a Bush coverup of Iraq.

To #31: The attacks in the US claiming that Barry Goldwater was a closet Nazi was the product of one of Obama’ political “friends”, David S. Canter, a Soviet asset, secret member of the Communist Party USA (Chicago. His father, Henry Canter, was a CPUSA labor leader in the Chicago/Illinois region as early as 1939, and a reported founder of the CPUSA).
In House Committee on Un-American Activities concerning communist operations in Chicago, Canter was identified as the above and details were provided about his covert anti-Goldwater propaganda publication which the KGB gave worldwide attention to.
According to David Canter’s son, Marc, his father “knew” Obama, logically because he was a key CPUSA political operative in Chicago, helping to get Marxist Harold Washington elected as their first black mayor.
He was also one of two far-leftists who “mentored” Obama top political advisor David Axelrod. The other red was Don Rose (who is reportedly still alive).
