Bechtel Corporation, the company that built Metros Silver Line in Northern Virginia, is bringing hundreds of jobs to that area, but its coming at the cost of Frederick, where the global engineering and project management firm is based, a move that is sparking frustration and anger.
The news hit Frederick like a ton of bricks. Nobody is happy about itnot politicians, not merchants.

So how are all those wonderful taxes and fees working out for you, Freak State?
To: Timber Rattler
Blue States should build a wall to keep people and jobs from leaving. They could even have armed guards and minefields.
They could call it an “Iron Curtain”.

Bechtel can’t find a home.
They Left San Francisco years ago for similar reasons.

“Fredneck” is especially liberal... nice town... but full of libtards, activists, and [in]equality sign bumper sticker types. Keep voting for Hopey Changey shit Fred.

For years and years, Bechtel was at 50 Beale St in San Francisco.

Reston won’t prove to be much of an improvement.

And its Bechtel to boot. Interesting company, largest privately held one on the planet. They do all sorts of interesting ... engineering stuff.
When Reagan became President he boosted a whole bunch of their Execs, including George Schultz and Cap Weinberger. I had a friend who worked there, back in the 1990s when they were in Gaithersburg, not Frederick. He gave me a copy of an unauthorized history of them titled "Friends in High Places". Neat read.

Old man Bechtel had his office in 45 Fremont. Don’t forget 1st & Main.

Blue States should build a wall to keep people and jobs from leaving. They could even have armed guards and minefields. The reality is not far off. The Red States are islands inside the country that has used the tax code to try and keep businesses and individuals inside the "walls". FATCA and the Corp. Tax code make it very difficult to do business outside the USA and be be headquartered in the USA, or a citizen.

With O’Malley at the helm, “The Fee State” is more apt. I even saw a license plate to that effect.
