Speaking to a gathering of police chiefs Monday, Attorney General Eric Holder said that the work of law enforcement is often thankless and challenging, but is absolutely vital to the U.S. and to the world.
These sacrifices are too often overlooked, Mr. Holder told the annual conference of the International Association of Chiefs of Police. And I believe we do ourselves, our communities and our nation a grave disservice if we ignore these difficulties.
Law enforcement officials, who the IACP represents, provide leadership in their communities, but must continue to address ongoing tensions like those in Ferguson, Missouri, the attorney general told the groups annual gathering in Orlando.

Comments after the article pretty much sum up Holder.
Control the border, arrest the IRS.
That must be why Holder would rather break the laws and ignore them instead.
What would Holder know about enforcing laws? He seems to specialize in ignoring them.
Sooo weird !
Ya pay all these agents to arm cartels and NOT A SINGLE American thanks you for it..!
Or maybe you poof out your ‘fro, get armed and take over a building at law school, and later you have to KEEP IT QUIET..!
Sheesh..!
“...the work of law enforcement is often thankless and challenging, but is absolutely vital to the U.S. and to the world.”
Yeah, all true. But what’s any of that got to do with what Holder’s been doing for the past six years?
Yeah, and under Holder’s ‘leadership”, law enforcement is more deserving of contempt. He’s been far more involved in ignoring the law than enforcing it, and more involved in covering up political scandals than uncovering wrongdoing.
Please sacrifice yourself into oblivion, Mr. Holder. As soon as possible.
HOW THE F WOULD HE KNOW!?!?!
Dear Mr. Holder:
Thank you for lying under oath to Congress.
Oh, and thank you for trafficking guns to Mexican drug cartel murderers.
And also thank you for doing your best to inflame racial tensions and hatred against white people in general and violent agitation against cops of all races.
And a special thank you for turning a blind eye to corruption and lawbreaking at the IRS, the EPA, and any number of other Federal government agencies.
See? It's not a thankless job after all.
He was on a stop over enroute to Ferguson to apologize to the officers there. And then on to a free-mumia rally.
What’s wrong with the chiefs to have this guy speak?
Holder fined big banks over 40 billion for sub-prime....fined the shareholders, that is. The REAL criminals, like Goldman Sachs, paid nothing....big donations to Obama. Criminal thug, now retired.(ran away, that is)
is this Holder’s equivalent of an apology to Officer Wilson?
Ran away is right, he’s afraid he might end up in the slammer.
Exactly.
How would Holder know?
I guess that’s why he hasn’t bothered to do it the past 6+ years.
