While he was early voting on Friday, a Douglasville, Georgia man says he was asked to remove a hat he wears everywhere, one that reads “NRA Instructor,” because poll workers said it was too closely associated with the Republican party.
The more I read this article, the more convicned I am that the idiot poll worker actually believed NRA stands for 'National Republican Association'.
There can really be no other reason.

Well it also once stood for the National Recovery Administration which was part of the new deal. Something closely associated with the FDR dim party. They had logos with stickers and stuff too.
