Voter fraud still totally not an issue.
How many non-citizens participate in U.S. elections? More than 14 percent of non-citizens in both the 2008 and 2010 samples indicated that they were registered to vote. Furthermore, some of these non-citizens voted. Our best guess, based upon extrapolations from the portion of the sample with a verified vote, is that 6.4 percent of non-citizens voted in 2008 and 2.2 percent of non-citizens voted in 2010.
Because non-citizens tended to favor Democrats (Obama won more than 80 percent of the votes of non-citizens in the 2008 CCES sample), we find that this participation was large enough to plausibly account for Democratic victories in a few close elections.
Non-citizen votes could have given Senate Democrats the pivotal 60th vote needed to overcome filibusters in order to pass health-care reform and other Obama administration priorities in the 111th Congress. Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) won election in 2008 with a victory margin of 312 votes.
Votes cast by just 0.65 percent of Minnesota non-citizens could account for this margin. It is also possible that non-citizen votes were responsible for Obamas 2008 victory in North Carolina. Obama won the state by 14,177 votes, so a turnout by 5.1 percent of North Carolinas adult non-citizens would have provided this victory margin.
So non-citizen votes gave us both Al Franken and ObamaCare. I’m not sure which of these is worse. But of course we don’t need to secure the integrity of our voting process, say Democrats. Any attempt at Voter ID is racist, say the main beneficiaries of voter fraud.
And then eventually we’ll just have to let anyone who wants to vote, even if they’re illegal aliens, just as we had to at the border. And then we’ll have to give the disadvantaged multiple votes.
That’s what the voter fraud party wants.
Hence the liberals push to flood the country with illegals.
Let Progressive Pete explain it all to you:
All immigrants should have the right to vote in elections in the U.S. because U.S. policies affect them and their families. If Republican politicians know that immigrants have say in U.S. elections it will curtail their natural instinct to enact their racist policies and force them to be more welcoming to immigrants! Another benefit to immigrants voting is the International Community will finally have a voice in the laws, immigration, and foreign policy of the U.S. which is only fair since this country has such a disparate impact on the rest of the world. No more Bush Cheney wars for oil! No more stolen Florida elections!
The election of President Obama a man with links to both Black America and developing nations has opened the door to finally bringing rational policies to the U.S. government. It doesn’t make sense that voting laws developed by the white racist capitalist robber barons are allowed to prevent the President and other progressives from receiving the electoral support of every American whether they are undocumented or not to support common sense solutions to the problems that they inherited from the previous administration. Its time to count the votes of all Americans!
Wait and see if this doesn’t start to be the party line pushed forward by the media and progressive politicians.
m only surprised that it wasnt 110%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wasn’t it in Ohio where there was something like 118% VTO
in the 2012 election?
Arrest all criminal non-citizen voters, seize their assets and deport them forever. What is wrong with our “officials”?
I’ll go one further...
Purge the voters rolls every ten years and make everyone re-register. Make election day the only day your can vote, no more early voting, same day registration, mail in ballots, and only the elderly and service personal get absentee ballots.
Penalty for voters fraud, five years for each vote, ten years for tampering or engineering voters fraud. No parole.
Sounds even better!
Now how do we get these rules implemented?
Reform of the election process certainly merits its own thread.
Good idea but there should be some provision for actually paying into the system rather than allowing illegals to claim 29 kids and get “refunds” that they then send to Mexico. We are being raped.
As a tax paying citizen, that makes sense to me.
So you are the one!
So you are the one!
he He He...I just took the citizenship test on another thread and got 100%
Oooooh... I like that ....:o)
Can non US citizens serving in the military vote ?
.
- - barter &/or trade items &/or services - let the IRS and DOJ get their money from illegal aliens -
.
“Our best guess, based upon extrapolations from the portion of the sample with a verified vote, is that 6.4 percent of non-citizens voted in 2008 and 2.2 percent of non-citizens voted in 2010.”
May have been 110%.
extrapolation = guess.
“Quick. Everyone run down to Mexico and start voting!!!”
Mexico has a very secure voting system designed by IBM and using photo ID.
They take voting seriously and have a modern system preventing fraud.
So... which one is the 3rd world country? Sometimes I can’t tell
And:
“What difference does it make?
“Why are non-citizens voting at all?”
Because we do nothing to prevent them from voting. Our politicians don’t care, they are falling all over themselves to give amnesty to these lawbreaking citizens of foreign countries.
