Independent or third-party politicians often roil American elections, and the current battle for Senate control could be determined by any of several unconventional candidates, including a pizza-delivering Libertarian in North Carolina.
GREG ORMAN: This independent received a dramatic boost in the Kansas Senate race when the Democrat suddenly dropped out...
SEAN HAUGH: A folksy, mild-mannered Libertarian who delivers pizza around Durham could hold the key to North Carolina on November 4.
He is polling at six percent in a race where Democratic Senator Kay Hagan leads Republican Thom Tillis by half that margin.

point taken. there are those at FR that would rather destroy insufficiently pure (by their lights) conservatives than defeat liberals.
Sorry, but when your GOP-E candidate supports either Abortion, the Gay Agenda, or Amnesty, that's not being "insufficiently pure".
That's being a traitor to not only conservatives, but Americans.

Some ill-qualified losertarians who support abortion and homo marriage are certainly not the cure for our ills. Talk about a wasted vote.
You do know that the last GOP Nominee for President, Mitt Romney, supported both of those policy positions, right?

“I blame the smart kids in the research triangle for the popularity of libertarians in NC.
There are a lot of things that can said about Libertarians, some good, more bad
Yet, intelligences, or being smart, is not one of them.
It’s ironic in they self identify as being intelligent and smarter than the rest, but it’s self deception.
To: SoConPubbie
we should burn them at the stake.

but look who the GOP put in place,
My memory fails me but who were the primary candidates that ran in that election and WHO elected the candidate????
The GOP gives nothing, the voters give us the candidate..........
I get sick and tired of these sob stories, "If only everyone had voted for "MY PERSONAL CHOICE" then this country wouldn't have these problems.......It don't work like that.......

The Dems discovered that the key to their victory is to have some spoiler third party candidates run to syphon enough votes away from the Republicans to allow the Dems to win.
Bulls**t! This guy nailed it.
Even if Haugh loses, he has a message to Democrats and Republicans eager to court disgruntled constituents: "We're becoming the swing vote that you have to motivate to get to the polls."
The GOP must EARN the respect and the votes of the American people. If they don't, then, people have every right to vote for someone else. Don't blame the Third Party Candidates, blame Mitch McConnell and Karl Rove for using their power and money to force RINO candidates down out throats and onto the ballot. We DO NOT owe our votes to some a**hole because he has an "R" behind his name. Now, you have a nice day.

Do you feel like the Republican party is ENTITLED to conservative votes?

“Do you feel like the Republican party is ENTITLED to conservative votes?”
Do you think conservatives should help the Democrats win elections and destroy the country? THAT is the result when conservatives don’t get out and vote for the Republican candidate in the general election.

Please re-read this:
“The Dems discovered that the key to their victory is to have some spoiler third party candidates run to syphon enough votes away from the Republicans to allow the Dems to win.
And it seems to work almost every time, because unfortunately many “conservatives” are so gullible and don’t see the forest for the trees and realize that the only result of voting for third party candidate is to help the Dems win... “
The bottom line is that YOU are helping the Democrats win and destroy the country. The least you can do is take responsibility for your actions — you are attacking the Republicans and help the Democrats win and rule — even though by now it should be pretty clear what is the result of a Dem control.

You didn't answer the question, but I will.
Conservatives don't help Dems win elections. Liberal republicans do.
I won't vote for a liberal. That includes a liberal Republican.
I won't vote for Cornyn this election.
Want my vote? Make the Republican party conservative.

Yes and do you deny that they also fell for Perot and got clinton?

Cornyn is doing the business of Harry Reid with his liberal support of Reid's agenda by Cornyn's cloture votes.
Reid wants Cornyn, since Cornyn supports the liberal agenda.
You still didn't answer my question about the Republican Party being ENTITLED to conservative votes.

You do realize you are posting on a site that is completely Pro-Life and Anti-Gay Agenda and Anti-Amnesty, right?

You are encouraging people to vote for the (R), regardless of how liberal. Not encouraging them to burn them at the stake.
You are the one that said/showed what you do.

“You still didn’t answer my question about the Republican Party being ENTITLED to conservative votes.”
Nobody is “entitled” to anyone’s vote.
But one would expect conservatives to be intelligent and logical enough to tell the difference between Republicans and Democrats and NOT “cut off their nose to spite their face” — and be proud that they are contributing to the destruction of the country by enabling Obama and the Democrats by giving them majority and power.
