SWLABR

Coming to me with that soulful look on your face
coming looking like you’ve never ever done one wrong thing...

Their most underrated song was “Tales of Brave Ulysses.”

Quite an excellent group!

RIP.

The sand continues to run through the hourglass, doesn’t it?

Sigh.

Many of the guys from that era (my era!) were great poets as well as great musicians.

one of rock's greatest trios

I don't believe that needed to be said.

RIP, Mr. Bruce. Thank you.

The world of music will be a poorer place without him,

That is quite true.

Strange Brew

One of my favorites. Couldn't believe that was Clapton with that hair until he started shredding a solo. Then there was no doubt.

After reading of his death, I went to Wikipedia and wound up on a page for the song, Sunshine of your Love.

Down in the article, it said that Clapton based the opening of his solo on Blue Moon.

I started humming it in my head and, by cracky, it was!

BLUE_MOON

The solo starts at 2:02 on this youtube link.
