Our family is proud to support Bill Walker to lead Alaska! Bill Walker, Byron Mallott, and their families joined with ours and other Alaskans in Todds airplane hangar this week in a show of true Alaskan support, complete with a potlatch brimming with salmon, moose, and caribou hors doeuvres.
Life-long Alaskans Bill and Byron have proven that they truly have our states heart and believe in putting Alaska first and ignoring status quo politics that get in the way of Alaskas destiny. This is refreshing and productive, and Alaska wins when Team Walker wins!
This unity ticket came about when winners of their respective primary races selflessly stepped aside for the sake of Alaska! This is rarely done in politics and proves that this strong independent ticket represents an Alaskan-sized heart, putting people over party machine politics and Alaskans over egos.

“No, I was not kidding you when I posted this piece of information direct from SPs Facebook page.
Your opinion and vote matter more than my opinion in this Alaska election; not sure what my opinion would be if I lived there.
But in the contiguous 48 where I live, SPs opinion carries more weight.”
That’s part of the problem, IMO, most of the cheerleaders - the one’s calling Sara a Conservative, have **no clue** as to what is going on here in Alaska.
This latest - backing a life-long far left socialist and a sell out (R) should give folks a clue Sara is a Populist, nothing else.
Look, keeps ending her money, at least she banks the loot in state, so the bankers are doing OK....
BTW - Mallott has quit more elected positions than Sara -
ask the folks that voted for him before how they felt about that....
We’re there any conservatives running in the primary that this guy took out?
I just keep thinking this woman is nobody's fool and exposed dishonest politicians from both parties.
This ASOC character, obviously diseased with PDS, spells Governor Palin's first name wrong. It's Sarah -- not Sara. If it's intentional, it's a sure sign of disrespect. If not, it reveals massive ignorance.
Until and unless the boss revokes his clear statement...
Before I make judgement on Assoc (attack the messenger) I think all would be best to check on these folks she is backing. I’m off to do a little research :-)
“And if what he said turns out to be substantially inaccurate...?” Bite me, Ace.

“Mallott was the Democratic nominee for Alaska governor in 2014, until he agreed to merge his campaign with that of independent candidate Bill Walker and become Walker’s running mate.”
and
ANCHORAGE The Alaska AFL-CIO announced Thursday that its federated unions had voted to endorse gubernatorial candidate Bill Walker and new running mate Byron Mallott, just two weeks after vowing not to support a candidate in what had been a three-way race.
The endorsement followed the announcement Tuesday to merge the campaigns of Walker, running for governor as an independent, and Mallott, who had won the nomination to run for governor as a Democrat. Walker and state Democrats saw the new, so-called Alaska First Unity ticket, with Mallott now running for lieutenant governor, as the best way to unseat incumbent Republican Gov. Sean Parnell in the Nov. 4 general election.
and
Beltrami said Walker and Mallott have shown they would better support the right of public employees to collectively bargain, labor agreements for large federal construction projects, and an expansion of the state Medicaid program to get more Alaskans insured.
While Walker has said he considers himself a Republican, he seemed less focused on conservative social issues than many Republicans and his views lined up with the things important to unions, Beltrami said.
An overwhelming majority of the unions that comprise the AFL-CIO voted to endorse Walker and Mallott, said Beltrami, who would not say exactly how many voted against the endorsement. There were 52 executive council members present for the vote, and it required a two-thirds majority to pass, he said.
Since you don’t live here, **you don’t understand** that the Lt Gov, Dan Sullivan (the mayor, NOT the Marine) is the anti-Christ to Alaska Unions.
Look up “AO-37 Anchorage” before you start calling folks names. Just because you are clueless, don’t pass that as normal for others....
I would say that by calling her “Sarah Quitter” he’s unaware that she had already fulfilled every campaign promise and that the frivolous lawsuits by Democrats were costing Alaska money. Had she stayed he’d probably complain about that.
Parnell now dances with the oil companies and that’s okay?
How many times has the conservative vote been split and the dem gets in? Just a thought.
No. The State has a full time Atty Gen to handle that stuff. Cost of doing business and all that.
She quit when the kitchen got hot, just like when she quit her job in State gov’t. I don’t care for quitters.
Look, if you want to think the sun rises and sets on Ms. Palin, help yourself.
Not for me.
Send her more money, she might use some of it to help folks get elected.
/.
Note to the GOP: Treating your activists like crap has consequences.
I’m sorry but it appears to be more than that here gang....ANY former democrat chair that openly supports a former Republirat that is now an independent is all the information I need....in this instance by all appearances Sarah is supporting a former RINO now confirmed left leaner.

“Parnell let partisan politics prevail over basic compassion when he declined the Medicare expansion available under the Affordable Care Act, leaving 40,000 low-income Alaskans uninsured. Walker cares about what is best for Alaskans, not whatever ideological mandates are coming out of the gridlock in Washington. Choosing compassion over politics, Walker will accept the Medicaid expansion.”
Scott A. Sterling is a past chair of the Democratic Party. He has practiced law in Alaska since 1987
Listen, bully...
It appears you are unwilling to comprehend what is being posted to you and respond to what is actually being posted.
You may return to the wild blue yonder or wherever you came from and take your thick-headed thinking with you.
You may have convinced one poster here tonight but he/she maybe registered to vote in Alaska or maybe not.
You continue to gripe even though you indicated repeatedly that SP has guaranteed YOUR CANDIDATE will win.
You are truly undeserving of any more respect shown to you here on FR tonight.

Is **anybody** at home in your head?
The "oil companies" provide a full 90% of all State income. The Gov would be both an idiot and fail in his duties not to talk with the largest revenue source for the state.
BTW - SaraH's ACES tax was overturned just in time. Oil is now down to about $80/bbl, and the new SB21 tax setup is bringing in more money to the state.
BTW - locally ACES is called **Alaska Clearly Entering Socialism**. ouch...
Oh, and that pipeline she had all but built? Ya, no pipeline.
So you're saying she should have stayed and allowed the state to lose employee time and money because of Democrat harassment.
just like when she quit her job in State govt. I dont care for quitters.
So quitting to go after Ruedrich was a sin. My my. And to think her approval rating was at 93%. Hmmm.
I have not called you any names nor have I attacked you personally.
We are done.
“Were there any conservatives running in the primary that this guy took out?”
The Dems and the (R) party run separate primary elections under current Alaska law. In a word, no.
Mallott is a Native (for those in Rio Lina, an Indian) and that’s is a big deal here as almost 15% of the population is Native - and the election machine in rural Alaska is as corrupt as New Jersey’s....
#53...it should bother us all and give us pause a former democratic chair is supporting the same cantidate Sarah is...at least give the piece written by the chair a read....this guy is clearly if he was still a republican would be a RINO
Jarhead, I’m in SC. Are you a resident of Alaska? Thanks.
