At least you didn't get a tattoo on your foot like Tyler. Or did you?
I could never see Tyler as a FReeper.

#7 Marie Osmond: Paper RosesThe Osmonds were on a roll, and at age 14, Marie turned out to have the perfect voice for Country, reviving the old Anita Bryant hit from 1960. Even after all these decades, it still sounds great. This is from a Bob Hope TV special, and Bob and Marie do a bit of comedy at the end. It was probably written by my cousin.

Hey Publius...
I had a chance to play the World famous Ruffati Organ at Coral Ridge today! But I was afraid to even touch it!
It cost 7 million back in 1974, so I can't imagine what it would cost in 2014 dollars if i Baroque it.
(And i really didn't have "official permission" so i chickened out. (sigh)

I'd like to tackle the Bach Toccata and Fugue in D minor or the Franck Fantasy in A Major on that.
Which reminds me...
Next week at the Canteen is the annual Halloween Classical Music Bash with all our favorites by Mussorgsky, Franck, Bach, Berlioz, Schubert and Saint-Saens. Then at the Chapel, I have the annual All Souls Day selections from Mozart, Berlioz, Schubert, Verdi and Brahms.

#56 Todd Rundgren: Hello, Its MeThis song had been released in 1968 by Nazz, Todds first band. The B-side, Open My Eyes, had broken at one of the clubs in Somers Point (NJ) when the DJ turned it over, and it became a regional hit in the Northeast. Todd reworked it and got a national hit out of it five years later.

That is one of my favorite instrumental tracks. It brings back memories of getting stoned with a lady who was a talented writer but had the gift of pissing off everybody who could have helped her. She killed herself later.
