FERGUSON, Mo. (AP) — Missouri police have been brushing up on constitutional rights and stocking up on riot gear to prepare for a grand jury's decision about whether to charge a white police officer who fatally shot a black 18-year-old in suburban St. Louis.
The preparations are aimed at avoiding a renewed outbreak of violence during the potentially large demonstrations that could follow an announcement of whether Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson will face a criminal trial for the Aug. 9 death of Michael Brown.
Police and protesters have repeatedly clashed since the shooting, which prompted a national conversation about race and police tactics. Images of officers in riot gear and armored vehicles confronting protesters have drawn widespread criticism.
Many protesters want Darren Wilson indicted for murder. Grand jury proceedings are secret, but legal analysts say recently leaked information about Wilson's testimony to investigators may be an attempt to prepare the public for the possibility that he might not be charged.

Most protesters want Officer Wilson indicted and convicted of murder for the crime of being white and the kid being black.

The rioters have consistently said they want this LEO “dead” and NO ONE! NO ONE! has held their feet to the fire about how wrong and evil that is.
The cops should establish an armed perimeter. Drop in leaflets telling people that if they walk out, unarmed, they’ll be taken to displaced persons shelters. Ones that are large in number (hold fewer people) and pretty well dispersed to mitigate the risks of (organized) trouble cooking up at them.
Then sit back and watch.
Kansas City is in Missouri. He would be perfectly safe in most of Kansas. Well then, there is Wyandotte County, Kansas. Not safe for him there. Still. I don’t like that he has gone to ground. Makes him look a) guilty b) cowardly.

Using that logic, when some knife-weilding degenerate has broken-down the door to my house and seeking to murder my family, I should call 911 and wait for them to come save us. Sheesh!

You know I do have quite a few black friends but they are Christians but I don’t view them the same as the Fegusonites. I guess I put them in the “good” category. When I see the tribal behavior it does stir up anger nd make me feel racist but I think it’s more of a good people vs bad people type of thing. I know this because we have a black girl that I’ve seen grow up in our church. We are very close and I love her to death. I would do just about anything to help her if she needed it and the other white people in our church feel the same about her. She is truly loved so it is not a race thing; it is a good vs evil thing.
